2025 I6 - JB4 Tuner

I didn't capture the mpg on the one long road trip with the JB4. I just know the gas hand seemed to be moving down a lot faster. I will try and get some good mpg numbers on my next long road trip.
Awesome! Much appreciated. I don't mind losing 1 or 2 MPG for some real performance gains, but with all the miles I put on my 1500, I'm really not a fan of losing more than that with this tune. I am however, leaning towards purchasing it......as it appears this company has done their homework on the 3.0L Hurricane engines. Thnx again!!

Could always request an "economy" tune from JB4.

It should, I would reach out to Burger Tuning directly and see what they say. Here is their email address [email protected]
Hey Bob, can you give me a holler? I'm not getting the support I need or expect from Burger here? No live/phone customer service. I downloaded my JB4 beta tuner and I'm having trouble connecting to the app. I bought the app, and I have it on my iphone screen, but that's where I'm stuck. Have a check engine light on, but can't read the codes or clear it either. Steve here from MA 508-962-1031.
Thnx in advance.

So I'm new to this and don't know much really is anyone running the recommended fuel on the higher maps and if not what are you doing to compensate for that if their is anything for that?

Why would you put this in your truck, and not run the recommended octane?

I'm only running map 1 I was curious if their was something people were doing if they don't have the recommended octane besides 91 im completely dumb to this thanks for any insight

Just run whatever map works for the octane you can get. If you want the performance, need to use the right octane. Don't expect octane boosters to do anything for you, other than lightening your wallet

Just wanted to create a thread on tuning options for the 2025 I6. I have talked with JB4 directly and they tell me their tuner will work on the new I6 and should yield around 104 HP. They are basing this off of a dyno test with a Jeep Wagoneer with the HO I6. When I asked them if anyone has actually put this on a 2025 Ram 1500 with the I6 and they told me yes, they have had lot's of orders. They also told me they hope to get one on their dyno soon for testing. I am kind of hesitant to install one without some real world data. The JB4 is a piggy back tuner that sits inline with different sensors. So, hopefully it wouldn't be as harmful as an ECU flash tune can be if done wrong.

The main thing I want to change is the speed limiter. All that HP and Ram won't let you go beyond 104 mph. My HO I6 was just getting started when it shut off at 104! Frustrating!

I did find an RHO thread that talks about the JB4 but no one has actually installed one in the thread. Hurricane + JB4 Tuner

Here is the link to JB4's website. JB4 Tuner for 2025+ RAM 1500 3.0L I6 Hurricane Twin Turbo (BETA)

Hopefully someone on this forum has installed one and can give us some good feedback.
I was able to get the JB4 guages on the screen of my 2025 Ram 1500 Limited using the Elite Car Box 4.0. Here is a link to the video I created

Burger posted their first dyno run of the JB4 on a 2025 Ram 1500 with the SO Hurricane I6. Their graph shows a 77.2 HP gain and a 145.58 gain in torque. Not bad but not the 104 HP everyone was hoping for. Hopefully IGM Auto will post their dyno test next week of their RHO with the HO Hurricane.

On the HO dyno sheets they clearly identify the maps being used however this SO dyno sheet they do not. I would like to know what map and fuel the above numbers were obtained with.
