i was reading and the previous rams appear didnt need much to get the digital cluster working, is the 25 the same? i know the 25 doesnt have alfaobd yet but it kinda looks like alfa wasnt even needed in the case of the previous trucks minus setting up the bcm swap?

No one knows at this point. But if you feel like giving it a go, let us know how it goes.

Most of the swaps on the lower MY were easier, but with the can architecture, it's probably going to be more difficult if not impossible.

hmm, i am happy to test it and find out, just would need to know of the correct part number and a place that would accept it as a return if it doesnt work.

i see all these as part numbers for the cluster:
68610858AG
68610860AG
68610856AG
68610861AG

edit: nvm found a site that gave a bit more detail in the item description the 4 i listed are the digital clusters with each being "themed" per ram trim. if anyone knows of a seller that accepts returns incase of it not working i will purchase it today and attempt the swap.

For the 2025’s, just the act of swapping any module on the canbus network will require a proxy alignment at the dealer, otherwise you’ll have the flashing odometer.
There are a few BCM configuration changes that need to be made to get some of the features working, like nav map and album art in the cluster, and the ability to bring up the tiles menu.

Hello all! New member here. I've been driving Fords forever and just got a 2019 1500 Sport model. Oh my God. Very nice and love it. However, I have a small problem I'm hoping someone can help with.
Here goes. This truck came out of Canada and as such, had drl's locked on. Well being a retired mechanic I decided to get with my son, also a mechanic, and use his Autel scanner in hopes of turning off the drl's. We dived in along with bypass cable and saw a few things but no drl function. We did see Canada to USA ability so tried that. Nothing. Drl still on. Also for some reason country change disabled passive entry handles. Change back to Canada an still passive gone.
Ok so went to studying this forum and got Alphaobd with Mx and was able to finally get option on 8.4 an turn off drl's. Yahoo!!
So I'm doing good so far with it. Went on in an looked at an changed few settings in bcm for passive entry but nothing.
Ok so I know for sure handles are good as they worked fine before Autel jacked em up. Fobs still lock, unlock, an pushbutton start works. Tailgate passive works with fob in pocket.
Maybe rfh not jiving with bcm so unlock command is given? Pin or secret codes not being shared? Oh, also outside handle pushbutton to lock not working either.
I know there are many smart ram pros on forum an hoping someone can help.
Thanks

Welcome, you should start your own thread instead of hijacking someone else's.

You might look in the how to add passive entry thread under modifications so you can check the settings to see what may have changed.
