Greetings all from sunny FL!

Been reading this site for some time gleaning for info on different Ram upgrades and other things that have come up for me over time, don't recall having posted before though.

Over time I've owned a '98 single cab, '02 Hemi Quad 4x4, '21 Bighorn Hemi Quad 4x4 and now my most recent ride which brings me to post...

I bought a '25 Laramie 4x4 Crew 2 weeks ago and have been refitting it for better Alpine system speakers. The '21 Bighorn had the base 6-speaker system, on which I previously performed a total speaker swap with acceptable results all things considered.

No stranger to old car moderate audio installs and I've read probably most of the related posts I could find on past Ram Alpine upgrades others have made as to speakers and/or amp/sub swaps, etc.

For this truck, looking for simplicity via speaker upgrades and have thus far installed Infinity REF307fs in the dash corners and 693Ms (3-way) in the rear doors. Just these swaps have made a pretty noticeable improvement in overall output and definition. I also disconnected the center dash speaker for better separation.

Interestingly, I performed the battery test on my OEM rear door speakers upon removal and found they were polarized against the Metra connectors Crutchfield included with them (I had read that was more of a front door issue) - easy fix in any case and the 693Ms are a solid improvement. No issues with the ANC.

That leads me to the front doors - the OEMs have reasonably punchy bass in complement to the Infinitys but they're not as well defined in overall sound clarity - I feel like I'm leaving much on the table with them.

So I'm thinking about an Infinity 697F coaxial set for the front doors and wanted to see if anyone here has used them with good results. Or of any other essentially bolt-in speaker options which have produced a better sound clarity result - I'm not married to Crutchfield's arguably limited product offerings in this regard but their fitment research is a great resource in general.

I want to retain good bass but improve its clarity for somewhat more distinctive separation at the same time. I presume anything I swap into the front doors will require a harness polarity correction as well to avoid ANC issues.

Look forward to your thoughts!

i would recommend Kenwood KFC-XP6903C but you already have the infinity's in the dash and the kenwoods went up alot in price in the last month.
i had these are the same as the 697f but they changed the model number last year. i got this exact set and they were NOT renewed they were brand new never opened.
and i highly recommend getting these

RECOIL SPB69 Foldable Silicone 6 X 9” Car Speaker Baffle

appreciate the info on those 9632s - seem to be a solid bargain over the 697Fs if all else essentially equal... definitely a thought - thanks!

So in brief update to my Laramie Sport Level 1 Alpine upgrades, I did finally settle on a new set of Infinity 9632xi coaxials for the front doors, coupled with Metra 72-6515 adapters (these apparently are the reverse polarity versions of the 72-6414 adapters). No ANC issues.

Ultimately worth the upgrade even as the tweeters are inactive in these doors. Overall clarity moderately increased over OEM level and they nicely complement the other 4 Infinitys I installed in the rear doors and dash.

To me the system sounds best equally balanced on surround with EQ mid left at 0, only bringing the bass and treble levels up a bit to fine tune the overall sound output.

Leaving the center dash channel disconnected definitely improves sound separation throughout the cab - I left the rear roof speakers alone and won't be doing anything with them for the foreseeable future.

I have these in the front and they sound amazing.

I have these in the rear and are a overkill, but sound amazing.

I am slos looking to replace the dash corner speakers

I am looking to replace the dash corner speakers on my 2025 w/ Alpine system. Which harness did you use for these?

In my '22, just changing the dash corner 3.5" speakers was an incredible improvement coupled with a pair of 300hz bass blockers.

I personally wouldn't bother with the door.

those "renewed" Infinity 9632xi off amazon were new in box correct? mine were brand new not renewed although it said renewed.
like infinity would repair a blown speaker LOL...... they destroy them if there is a warrantee claim. renewed LOL
they just call them renewed because they are NOS and want to push the new model number.
if you blow a 400 dollar kicker subwoofer they replace it and smash the blown one with a sledge hammer i have seen a kicker sales rep do it in person then throw it in a dumpster....

Mine were brand new factory sealed - never opened/returned, etc.
