I just purchased a 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn with the tow package. I like everything about it the truck but I dislike the tow mirrors that came with the truck. Has anyone changed from tow mirrors to regular. My current mirrors only have the puddle lights, blind spot monitoring, and the turn signal light. Any info is appreciated!

I almost purchased a bighorn but didn't because it didn't have the tow mirrors. The salesman and myself chatted with the parts dept manager about what it would take to swap them out and the parts came to about $700 but all parts showed backorder with no eta. This led to me buying the warlock instead my boat trailer is 9ft wide I need the tow mirrors.

The connections might be different so a swap might not be that easily. I don’t think anybody has tried this yet as they are too new. These 25’s are locked down good sadly 🙁

From my talks with the parts mngr as long as they were both the non powered folding non memory they were direct fit looking at his computer....of course we all know dealerships have never been wrong ...

I have the tow mirrors, and they are love/hate so far, huge blind spot, my wife won't even drive the truck. She drove the much wider Raptor and loved it (without tow mirrors).

Parts guy said since my truck doesn't have the power folding the mirrors from a tradesman would work. I ordered them should be here this week I'll post an update.

Yea I hate the blind spot for sure. I purchased this truck for my mother in law as she helps haul my kids to school. She hates the blind spot as well.

Can you describe the blind spot? I have a 25 Tungsten with the tow mirrors and the only blind spot I have is forward facing trying to look around the driver side one. Is that what you are talking about?

I love all of the features they add agree they are huge/too big.

I dream of a world where everyone is always right and never makes a mistake. Especially the Dr that misdiagnosed my child...

both sides have a large blind spot where the mirror blocks your view to the side, as in approaching a corner or crosswalk.

As stated above. I have the same issue.

I haven't really noticed this on mine but I'm coming from a 2500 and I always flipped the mirrors out when towing with it which was several days ago week so guess I'm just use to the big mirrors.

Agreed.

Nice to have the tow mirrors when you need them, but day to day they have a gigantic blind spot when coming to a corner. I have adjusted my seat to sit higher which lets me peek a bit over them when in the neighborhood, but I do wish they didn't extend so far upward.

I have the same issue with my Tungsten tow mirrors. Try power extending which does help a little.
My previous Duramax with tow mirrors had a similar issue and they were not power extending.
