Just a little tidbit to consider-I could be completely wrong but there's some logic here-Once the ball starts rolling we MIGHT get some of these trucks sooner than expected. I think the VIN assignment/sequence number comes from the "bucket" of all flavors of RAM trucks, not just SHAP produced units. (SHAP, Warren, and Saltillo) My logic is this: SHAP total capacity is ~6000-6500 units per week. If you multiply that times ~50 weeks of production the maximum they can roll out of that plant is ~325,000 DT series trucks annually as SHAP is the only plant that produces them. I just saw a MY21 TRX advertised at the dealership I ordered my truck from and it ends in 905651. Since VIN numbers start out with 100,000 that leaves 805,651 and there have NOT been that many DT trucks built for MY21.
Again, I have NO access to proprietary information and I could be all wet on this but I don't see how it could be any other way. This could also help explain some of the "jumps" in VIN #'s in the graph
