2021 Ram 1500 Rebel Night Edition Lands In Dealer Showrooms:

Perfect excuse to swap in a 33g tank.
Ive read in some threads dealers were doing this. In other the cost of new skid plates etc making the cost 1500 in parts before labor.
Im going in Friday to ask if it can be done and the price. Loved my 33gal in my old rebel.

who ever thought the 23 gallon fuel tank was a good idea on a v-8 getting 15-20 mpg should be fired.

This is an old thread - can't be relevant to the Hurricane engine.
I agree with the stupidity of a 23 gal gas tank on any version / year of this truck!

The bulk of the cost comes from the fuel pump pricy new but you can also just pick up a low mileage one from a 26g tank thats what I did picked up one from ebay and then another from the local yard had less then 15k+ miles on itbut my truck also had 50k+ miles on when I finally pulled the trigger. If you can do the work yourself its not terribly expensive.
