Hi, I was wondering if anyone came across this problem yet- I just bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Big Horn Sport model this past Saturday. Everything was great. Played around in the morning with the truck after the dealer then it sat in the sun all day. It was about 85 degrees here In New Jersey . Once the sun went down and got into the 60's/became cool. I went out to my truck to grab something and I noticed all this condensation in the headlights. Woke up the next day and it was clear except for a couple droplets of water. Anyone else having this problem and is it normal? Keep in mind I have the halogen headlights NOT the LED ones. I had a 2016 ram 1500 express that did the same thing so is it normal problem of Chrysler? Please also note that I live near the water and its usually always humid around here. Thank you .

ITs at the dealer being looked over as we speak cause now I have a leak on my third brake light and it came into my cab this morning. Truck is 5 days old with 250 miles on it and issues with headlights and water leaks already. Not happy with my 2020 Ram at all.

I dont really understand what you can do for me. Its at the dealer right now getting looked at and its under warranty.
The 3rd brake light leak is a well known issue. As far as the headlights I haven’t heard of that problem much. You are under your bumper to bumper warranty so I’m sure they will just replace them with new ones.
I know the 4th gen rams the third brake light was very common. I'm a contractor and 4 other guys including myself that parked in the same work yard had the same ram trucks 15-2017 years. All of ours leaked. I used rtv silicone and sealed it up. No issues since then. The headlights are a hit or miss problem. My 2016 ram had condensation in it, but it went away within an hour so Ram told me that was normal. If it was constant, then theres a bigger issue. I found a Facebook group for 5th gen ram owners and posted a picture of my headlights, alot of the responses were people having the same issues. My trucks at the dealer as we speak so hopefully it gets fixed and they dont mess anything up like my paint in the process.

Rams have had the 3rd brake light leak for at least 15 years that I know of and maybe longer. It's pathetic that they can't fix something that simple.
Agreed. I put rtv silicone around the gasket on my 2016 and never had a problem. I should have done the same thing to the new truck when I bought it last week but I thought since they re did everything, they finally fixed the issue.
