I only paid 35K for my 2014 sport Quad cab and got 22K for it at trade in with 50,000 miles 4 1/2 years old. I was surprised how well that truck held it's value. I still managed to get 10K off the 2019 back in August, I'm sure it would be more now.

I just traded my (June 2018 build) 2019 Bighorn Black 4x4, Hemi, level 2 and 17k miles on it. I got 34k ACV. Most Likely due to the Black package. KBB had it in the range of 32-34800. I used to sell cars, lots of factors go into it. Plan on the dealer shooting for a 3k profit to start and go from there. They would likely advertise it for 34 knowing 31500 might be a more realistic number. 1500 net on the sell of yours plus moving a "unit" of what you traded for plus doc fee 3k might have been the deal. I think 30k is close for what you described.

I bought a 2012 ram express 2wd regular cab in 2012 for ~21k, totaled it with 3000 miles and got almost 24k from insurance. Only time i ever came out ahead on a vehicle.
