any chance i can get a few guys to comment on there experiences with a cold air intake? what it typically costs?what did you notice after installation?
would you do it again? the mopar CAI looks pretty slick. thanks for your time.

My understanding the existing factory air box/system is a cold air intake. Not as fancy as K&N but same results/benifit. Researching it will give you a Owners response Ram better than Chevy better than Ford result. You got the green backs change it. But I'll bet you won't see a whole lot of difference. Now thats what I found out through trial and error and reading the reviews. I found out changing the filter to a less restricted air flow like AEM. Washable lifetime warranty. I put it in my 2008, 2014, soon 2019 Ram. Did I see any drastically altered gas mileage improvement.... NOPE.

Mine was around $400 CDN, the throttle response seemed to be a bit better after installation and there is more intake noise when you get on the throttle which is what I was looking for. No gas mileage improvement and no noticeable performance increase.

The nice thing about the Mopar CAI for the 2019s is that it seems similar to the Vararam intake that is available for 3rd and 4th gen Rams. People with that intake do say they see a performance increase. I'm definitely interested in the Mopar CAI for the 5th gens as it is a different take on traditional cold air intakes.

after weekly checking on mopar.com (u.s. site) for updated mopar parts and accessories. (usually months ahead of the canada site)- looking for any pricing etc. i checked on the canadian site (mopar.ca)
and under the accessories-2019 ram 1500 there is a downloadable accessories catalogue (pdf) it has a few more cool options. (no pricing yet) but i cross referenced the part #'s and the few i did were
the same for u.s. and canadian customers.

Once I specified a 2019 Ram 1500, it brought up model-specific sections for Interior, Exterior, and Cargo & Hauling Accessories. But the Parts and Performance sections of the site looked more generic; maybe there's not much content there yet for the Ram.

I'm very interested in the RAM Airflow intake. It's very similar to Vararam which many said they had decent hp gains out of. Could help get back some of that power after I go to some bigger tires.

Guys, my dealer is telling me the Bed Step is not available yet. I was unable to add it to my order, but it was an option on http://www.ramtrucks.com build a vehicle. Did anyone else buy a bed step? is it Mopar? Any info is appreciated.

My parts guy been watching. The supplier must have not been able to supply pruduction. The bed utility rail is in production do to Mopar parts first of June. Level kit still waiting for Mopar part numbers
