Hi Ram truck owners!!
I can’t afford the MOPAR transmission fluid and oil pan, can anybody recommend a reliable aftermarket oil transmission fluid kit

Doorman makes an aftermarket pan that has a removable filter so that next go around you wont have to change the entire pan. As for fluid, I wouldn't mess with having to replace a transmisison that expensive.

I would stick with the mopar 8-9 speed fluid. Tranny replacement is not cheap if it lets go. Guy at work had one replaced not too long ago, 5 to 6k IIRC.

Used their kit on my 14 no issues their fluid is suppose to be compatible with the existing ZF Mopar fluid.

Or spend more and go with a PPE pan and be glad filter will now only cost $30 and go with either Mopar 8/9 speed fluid or ZF lifeguard (same as the Moper fluid)

I would not chance it going any cheaper than what I linked.

AMSOIL for engine and trans has never let me down. I don't know about tans filters for the Ram. But I use Wix oil filters for my cars and trucks with no problems.
