I currently have the 285/45R22 tires on my 2019 Longhorn 4x4. I want to replace with an all-terrain tire. I'm considering going up to the 305/45R22 (Nexen Roadian AT Pro RA8). My truck is at stock height and it does not have the air suspension. Will the 305s fit without rubbing? I searched thru previous posts on here, but everyone I found was related to a Limited with the air suspension. I don't want to buy them and they rub and I get stuck with them. Thanks in advance for the input.

If they do rub, it’ll be minimal.
305/45 is a 32.8~, vs 32.1 stock, and less than an inch wider.
I’m no expert but I think you’ll be alright

Why not just spend 100 bucks on a 2" level and then go even a little bit bigger like 33s and still have no rub? And the truck will look ALOT better sitting level!?

I hear ya. The 305 measures in at 32.8" tall. So we're talking 0.2" difference here. Right, or am I missing something? I've always kept stock tires on vehicles before, so this is new territory for me. Thanks

Will a 305/45R22 work on the stock 22" rims? I think they're 22x9 and 305/45 are recommended minimum of 9.5. Does that matter really?

Yes, it does matter, but that should be fine even still.

I’ve ran 8” wide wheels with 12.50’s for years, most anyone in the offroad community has, on and off road, with no ill effects.

a 305 is 12.00” wide, I feel pretty confident in saying you’ll never have any trouble.

The ones that boggle my mind are the guys with a 14” wide wheel and 12.50 or 13.50 tire, stretched way out.

Had a little rub in reverse full lock. A couple snips on the plastic and no more rub.

Have you considered 295?
Also...if you're planning on doing off roading...I would look to downsize the rim.
Nexen makes great tires. I recently switched from them to the Falken Wildpeaks though...I was surprised that I liked the Wildpeaks even more.

Just Revel Links for my air suspension. Minor rub at full lock but heated up my liner and pushed it back. No more rub.

Would be curious to see how much they rub without the links. I would only install the links with the spacers, but thatd be a PITA to take out quick and put on regular tires if i had to bring to dealer for warranty work.

Not sure if I asked you - do you know how much you lifted it with the links? Im only looking for 0.5-1" at most but if that doesnt net me the larger tire might as well stay stock.

Gave me about an inch or slightly more in the front.
