Good morning all!

Needing to again replace my tires. Factory 285/45R22. Factory Rims 9"

Probably the odd man out (considering I gave up on going with a more aggressive looking tire), I'm looking for a comfortable ride. Highway only.

Unless someone has found a way to put some gorgeous aggressive looking fatter tires on these wheels, I'm looking for advice for a quiet comfortable tire.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd consider options to go aggressive, but seemingly it's rough on this truck without rub or spending a fortune.

TIA!

Michelin Defender LTX. They’re the gold standard.
Nope, they’re not aggressive, but they’re quite, great all around traction and last.
Once my OEMs are worn out, they’re going on.

Who decided they are the gold standard? I have zero experience with the Michelins, but it bugs me when people make comments like that. Kind of like how the Dallas Cowboys were referred to as "America's team" back in the day LOL. I don't remember voting on that one. :ROFLMAO:

@time2jet I would recommend going to tirerack.com and reading reviews on tires they offer in the size you're looking for. They have ratings for most of the tires they sell as well.

I did add quite aggressive tires, but I had to lift it.

I used to own a 2500 Chevy HD Diesel truck, and I had the Michelin LTX Load range E tires on that truck for many years. I was towing on a regular basis (horses) they were quiet, and the ride was stiff but so was the suspension for the loads I needed to support.
Load range tires have stiffer side walls to support heavy loads vs the P-metric tires, and generally are heavier, and cost more.

I just got new tires for my truck 2020 1500 Laramie and, I changed my tire size slightly from the factory 275/55/R20 to 275/60/R20.
Factory tires were street tires and IHMO found them to be noisy. The new tires are Firestone Duleer Revo 3's, they are quiet IMHO vs. the factory tires. Granted, I have very limited miles with the new tires, they give a bit more cushion from the bumps, and added protection from the curb monsters. The tires are also SL weight class, I do not tow that much anymore, and they are rated well within the truck's GVR weight rating should I tow something again (no more horses.)
