This is a quite common occurence on any vehicle. The brake rotors will get surface rust overnight and the first time they are applied, they will squeal. That is because the rotors will collect condensation as they cool down overnight and it turns into surface rust. As you brake, you are scaping the rust off and they squeal. Unless you leave the vehicle overnight at the dealer, they will never hear it. Don't know a good fix. Maybe ceramic pads?My 2019 Ram 1500 has just over 8,000 miles and my brakes squeal like crazy when backing out of my driveway (slightly downhill). It only happens first thing in the morning when cold and backing up. I reported it to the dealer the last time I took it in. They said they couldn't recreate it. They probably tried when it was warm. It's quite embarrassing as everyone in my neighborhood knows when I back up my truck. I had the same type of noises going forward up until about 4,000 miles. Guess I need to brake backwards 4,000 miles.
Is the noise coming from the front or rear. There is a thread in regards to ft brake noise. It involves replacing front pad and rotors with superceded parts. Possibly also calipers. Nothing in the rear as far as I can remember.I have the same issue when backing out kf my driveway. No other vehicle i have owned has ever done this, the dealer says it's normal but thats a load of bull. None of my neighbors vehicles do this and I feel dumb backing out as everyone turns to see what POS is near to see its just a brand new Ram...
