The only fix is replacing the air bags with coil suspension. Otherwise they will keep replacing parts every winter.I’ve had my 2018 Ram in to the dealership 5 times in the last couple months for air suspension problems. Is there a fix for this or are they just waiting for the weather to warm up?

@Eastman what exactly are the suspension issues? I am asking for I am experiencing some and wonder if it's the sameI’ve had my 2018 Ram in to the dealership 5 times in the last couple months for air suspension problems. Is there a fix for this or are they just waiting for the weather to warm up?
In weather-13 Celsius and colder the compressor will stop working. The suspension will go all the way down and it makes the truck undriveable because it bottoms out with each bump. The reason I say -13 and colder is because that is the warmest it happened to my truck.@Eastman what exactly are the suspension issues? Air Suspension not returning to Normal mode after Easy entry setting.
Anyone else having trouble with the suspension not returning to the Normal position after selecting the Easy entry mode on it's own? Mine will only go up to the Aero mode but won't go into Normal mode unless I manual select it again.5thgenrams.com

Ugh..my lease is coming due on my '16 2500 Cummins (yes it's leased) and I was thinking of going back to a half ton with the air suspension. Now I'm concerned since I'm in Minnesota and when in the northern part of the state at our cabin it can easily be -30F in the depth of winter...heck even here in Minneapolis area it was that a couple times this winter. I'm really second guessing if I should go the air suspension route now.In weather-13 Celsius and colder the compressor will stop working. I know my comments are not preconceptions of the 5th Gen Revised Suspension. I will say the system, when working fine which 99% are, the revisions are truly exceptional. But if you happen to have an issue as mine or a few others, well lets just leave it as it needs help. Now I will ad when I first replied to the OP's post, I did not catch that he was dealing with a pre 5th Gen as now a few others have chimed in as well.I have yet to see if this thread applies to the 5th Gen air suspension, so ease back your preconceptions on the revised air suspension.
It also hasn't been established if the 4th Gen problems were addressed with the redesigned 5th Gen air ride. It will take another winter or two before the 5th Gen trucks start to show symptoms.I have yet to see if this thread applies to the 5th Gen air suspension, so ease back your preconceptions on the revised air suspension.
Touche'I think it's a good thing that humans learn from past failures and keep trying to improve on previous efforts. If they just gave up when things didn't work out the way they had hoped, we sure wouldn't have made much progress.
