Hi I am new to Ram trucks and recently became interested in the 1500 Laramie Sport. However, when I build with the configurator online it shows the 20x9 wheels - Painted with Inserts which I prefer. However, it seems like 99% of the Laramie Sports in the Houston area have the 20x9 five spoke polished wheels. I noticed there is no additional charge for this but I would prefer the wheels that are on the configurator as they look better. Is this something the dealer is ordering or an issue with wheel availability when the vehicles were ordered?

You might be getting them confused with the big horn sport package because those come with the polished five spoke wheels

I have scene most of the Laramie sports with the standard Laramie 20” wheels as well. Thier must be a supply problem with the ones that are suppose to come on the Laramie sport.

Here is a photo from a build on the website Sales code WRJ vs WRB

Not confused I posted an image below. This is driving me insane why they all have the polished wheels instead of the painted.

My Laramie Sport came with these (which is what they should come with):

They all look like this in the Houston area

Ordered same truck as Kidder. Hope mine comes with the right wheels

Big Horn/Lonestar's don't come with the sport hood as part of their Sport Package.
Roger that.

It is interesting that Laramie Sports are getting different sets of wheels. When I priced one on the ram website, the ones posted in the blue pic just above are a $1k+ option.

There was a wheel shortage, so some Laramie Sports got the standard Laramie 20's instead of the Sport wheels.

Do they have the wheel shortage problem fixed?

I think they had a shortage of the correct rims. All the ones I’ve seen on line have the wrong rims. When I ordered mine it initially said there was a hold. Once August hit, it allowed the dealer to ordered. I live in the Detroit area and have seen a few Laramie Sports with the correct rims on truck haulers. I’ll be upset if my truck comes in with the wrong rims

I haven't heard anything else about it but I believe so. A memo went out to dealers months ago about there being a shortage and that some Laramie Sports would come with the standard Laramie rims. I think that might have only affected stock orders though, not sold orders.

Thanks for verifying this. Sounds like ill either have order one or wait for one to hit the lot.

Not the best picture but I just bought a Laramie sport in Arkansas and here are the wheels it came with. I will have 35’s on them next week.

Why are some coming with Falken tires? Mine had Bridgestone HL. Not that it matters, just wondering.
