The more I think about it - the more I think this tailgate design is a great idea. I am always reaching over the tailgate, or have to step on the corner of the bumper. Just wish it didnt look so funny.

I thought it looked really weird at first but it’s grown on me and I don’t mind it anymore

I have this option, and yeah it cosmetically doesn't look as good as a nice solid design, but the form over function of this tailgate far exceeds the somewhat eyesore. it is so handy, and I don't even utilize the std option of opening it.

The MFT is the one thing I really wish my truck had.

I can easily see myself trading my '19 in in 2 or 3 years to get the same truck I have now, but with the MFT and an EcoDiesel (or bigger/better Hemi). And support for wireless Android Auto.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed now that the EcoDiesel proves really solid. I do a lot of highway mileage, running around 20K miles per year. I would love to get 30 MPG instead of 18 (my best so far with my '19).

Currently installing the Peragon cover on my MFT, and while it doesn’t fit with the stock brackets, i am able to make it work with a replacement bracket made from heavy duty steel, 500 lb capacity counter top bracket. These are extremely sturdy, welded steel.

Will post more photos once i have drilled them and bolted them back in.

Here you go. Lined it up perfectly and drilled the holes. Can’t imagine it going anywhere.

Does the Paragon bed cover come in a matte finish like the BakFlip or just the shinny finish? Looks like the shiny finish could scratch up easily?

It’s a satin finish, my garage is extremely bright(100k lumens at 3 ft) and the sun was coming in the window pretty good too. It’s definitely not as shiny as the photo makes it out to be. It’s pretty close to the undercover ultra flex

However you can get it painted or powder coated whatever color you want from them.

Is it a durable finish that you wouldn't have problems sliding a box or cooler on it? Trying to avoid a maintenance nightmare even though I made the mistake of getting diamond black

It seems quite durable however I’m not willing to test that out. I would have someone spray bedliner on it if you’re sliding a cooler across it!
