I guess ****ty design is the fault of the customer too. Thats total BS. All the dealers know the visors break because plastic isn't metal and the plastic gets stressed in heat and cold and breaks.
Make sure there is zero evidence of the rear window leaking. Make them pull the rear seat back to see the rf hub and if there is any evidence of the hub getting wet make them replace the window, the hub & the center rear brake light. If you don't confirm these items you will be sad.
I would say that there are very common and pretty regular failures that many of us have experienced. For example, the leaking rear window is a prime example. I had this one. It was a pain the a$$. It wound up getting covered by Ram but it's still a flaw that seems to happen more often than not...
Received a check yesterday from Stellantis for $1990.00. I feel like this square's things with me on the rear window/brake light/transceiver that these leaks ruined.
To be clearer on this. Thats what the Stellantis email subject line stated "RE: Recall Reimbursement Request from Brandsite". Semantics aside I don't think anyone particularly cares what it's called as long as you have a chance to get a refund/extended warranty. I do understand that there has...
This should probably be posted as a sticky since so many people have had this issue. Another member here posted this link for the window/rear brake light leak recall reimbursement. I went to the url input my Vin# and was deemed eligible for consideration. I scanned the invoices from the dealer...
After I had the rear window replaced, the hub replaced & the rear brake light by the dealer I went back and sealed the new window myself with 3M 5200 Marine sealant because if you replace all of those parts with the same eventually defective parts you will get the same results. I'm sure Permatex...
That is part of the confusion here because there are certainly several ways this condition can occur, and it can be difficult to diagnose the specific problem you may have. In my case which I believe is the most severe, I could not put gas in the tank without the nozzle cutting off no matter how...
Lately I have seen quite a few of these configurations on the road. To me they look odd and somewhat ugly but hey everyone has the right to do what they want. Is this the next fad?
The pic below doesn't look that bad but the ones I see have all season type tires and seem much shorter and wider...
This is how things went with my truck. It suddenly wouldn't fill and no tricks or different pumps or speeding or slowing the filling would change that.
After a lot of BS the dealer ordered me a new tank. The order got canceled by Stellantis & when the dealer asked why the order got cancelled...
There are many threads here on the gas fill issue. Some people including me had to have the tank replaced because Ram did a re-design, they were having so many issues with it.
