This is the piece of trim I’m talking about. Gravel roads will get it to move just a little and start to rattle. Just a simple push and it sits tight again and stops making noise.
Ccookson do you have the 12” screen? I have noticed in my truck driving gravel that the trim pieces on the side of the radio will get a little loose and cause a rattle like sound that seems to come from the top of the radio. If I push the trim piece on both sides then it will quit for a few...
I drive about 12k miles a year and about 7k of those are gravel roads. The factory p rated tires work perfect. But when they wear out I always replace them with an XL tire. No need for the E rated tires on a half ton truck.
I also noticed the drive line will bind up when it’s on 4Hi. Seems to be more locked in than my 2013 Ram was. I had the exact same problem of pushing my ramps across the floor with my 2013 Ram but I have not tried to climb them yet with my new truck.
My issue I kept having with my 2013 longhorn with the air suspension was the valves were freezing and not the pump going out. Over time the “closed” nitrogen filled system will leak and when it does it will then pull in ambient air to refill and repressurize the system. That external air now...
For the front set I used a small Phillips screw driver and heated it up and used it to punch a hole in the wheel well liner. The rear ones have plenty of room to drill them from the back side of the liner. Super easy to install. My dealer wanted to charge me an hour per set which was $200 in...
I’ve got the exact same trailer as you only mine is 20 feet long. It is the absolute best towing trailer I have ever pulled. It’s either stuffed with 4 atvs that combined weight about 3500 pounds or two Polaris rangers. I’ve yet to pull it with my new truck but my old rig was a 2013 1500...
Lol. Yeah that would work too. I guess I was just over thinking the situation here. In my old truck with the 8.4 screen you could erase them but it was kind of difficult to find where to do it. I just didn’t know if I was missing where that menu was in the new 12” but your method would do...
Just got my truck two days ago and am having a hard time figuring out how to clear the preset radio stations. I only listen to about 6 stations and I’m used to just using the steering wheel controls to cycle through them. My new truck has all 12 presets set so instead of just cycling through...
