Final update😂: installed the 3.5 inch rough country struts and now my truck is sitting much better.
Center of hub to fender measurements:
Front: 25.5 inches
Back 26 inches
Yea I agree that the struts definitely didn’t match the oem. If the kit wasn’t on, the truck would be sitting at like 20.5 inches hub to fender, Way too low for factory. Maybe they ordered struts for a 4th gen ? Or maybe a 5th gen classic. They may have just slapped on some struts they had...
Update: shop basically said it wasn’t their fault (even tho there’s no way the kit was installed properly because it only yielded 2-2.5 inches of lift up front). So I decided to order some preloaded 3.5 inch struts. Hopefully I can finally obtain 3.5 inches of lift up front and reduce my rake...
They supposedly replaced both sides. The ride quality isn’t bad and the angles aren’t severe, the problem I have is I paid for 3.5 inches of lift and only got 2 inches up front and 2 inches in the back. Yea I’ve installed several lifts and leveling kits over the years. I just didn’t have time to...
I’m not 100% sure why they changed them, I believe they’re reasoning was they stripped out the threads on the old struts due to rust🙄 if you look at my UCA you can see they’re actually over corrected. They’re toed in towards the tire because the entire thing should be higher
So apparently my the shop replaced my shocks, I'm not sure why they did. In the pictures you can see everything is dirty and old except the center black Monroe shock. On the side fo the shock there is a weird little diagram with arrows. Im not sure what it means exactly but it looks like the...
yea I'm going to call the shop in the morning and talk to whoever was uncharge of installing this. I mean I can't think of anything else that they could've messed up. Both spacers are there and the rear spacer looks fine to me, I mean how hard is it to install a rear block 🤣. I really feel like...
So I just had a ready lift 3.5 inch sst kit installed on my 2019 ram 1500 4x4. I had some 35s put on and it looks great. My only concern/confusion is that when looking at my truck I noticed it is still like 2-2.25 inches higher in the back. I’ve crawled under the truck and everything looks like...
