So I just had a ready lift 3.5 inch sst kit installed on my 2019 ram 1500 4x4. I had some 35s put on and it looks great. My only concern/confusion is that when looking at my truck I noticed it is still like 2-2.25 inches higher in the back. I’ve crawled under the truck and everything looks like it’s been installed properly but I don’t understand why there’s so much rake still. Most people seem to only have like .75-1 inches of rake after the install. My truck is a normal 4x4, not a rebel or any other off-road Package. Has anyone else had these issues before? Is there a common installation mistake I need to look for?

Doesn’t sound right. With the SST kit, you get the 1.5 inch top hat and 2 inch preload spacers to get the 3.5 in the front, along with the 2 inch coil spring spacers for the back. Did you take any measurements? If so, we’re you on flat ground when you took it?
Check the front to ensure they installed both spacers, because you should be about dead level.
It is noticeable in the pic that there is a bit of rake still, but with what you have installed, it should be pretty level. Good luck👍

How much rake did you have prior to installing.. did you take any measurements. Even though its a common truck the rake between two different models seems to be all over the place maybe you had a lot more rake then whats typical.

What are your dimensions, center of hub to fender, front and rear?
Your front looks low.

I essentially gained nor lost any rake after the install which is why I’m concerned something isn’t right. Both the preloaded and top hat spacers are installed. I don’t remember having an abnormal amount of rake from factory, I assumed it was the normal 2-2.25 inches.

Yeah, what he said 🙄
Can you verify both the top hat and coil spacer have been installed?
It’s hard to see in the image but the preload spacer, factory top hat, and new top hat are all there

Yup, they both look installed. So now I’m confused. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤔
yea I'm going to call the shop in the morning and talk to whoever was uncharge of installing this. I mean I can't think of anything else that they could've messed up. Both spacers are there and the rear spacer looks fine to me, I mean how hard is it to install a rear block 🤣. I really feel like the rear is fine but the front is low. I guess worse case scenario, Ill just get some 1 inch rear blocks and install them myself to get rid of the 2 inch rake.

All the parts are there.
Can you take a picture from the front that shows the whole strut assembly with the UCA and LCA too?
I don't know, maybe you have saggy springs. 😕 It's difficult to determine without the same measurements from before to compare with the after to see what you actually gained from the lift.

Yea the only other thing I can think of is maybe there’s something up with my factory struts

So apparently my the shop replaced my shocks, I'm not sure why they did. In the pictures you can see everything is dirty and old except the center black Monroe shock. On the side fo the shock there is a weird little diagram with arrows. Im not sure what it means exactly but it looks like the shock might be adjustable. So maybe the new shocks they installed weren't adjusted high enough? Screen Shot 2023-01-26 at 9.20.27 PM.png

Did you need new struts? Why did they replace them?
That could be part of the problem.
That diagram is instructing the installer to release the piston from its shipping position. They aren't adjustable.

Ride-height adjustable struts have adjustable spring seats. Lift is gained by the spring.

I’m not 100% sure why they changed them, I believe they’re reasoning was they stripped out the threads on the old struts due to rust🙄 if you look at my UCA you can see they’re actually over corrected. They’re toed in towards the tire because the entire thing should be higher

What kind of hackjob shop did you go to? Did they replace the strut without asking you?

I noticed that.
I think the new struts' spring seat is lower than your OEM struts. It effectively drops your front end by the difference between OEM and new spring seats.
