Precisely. The reality is that Tesla is no longer the only manufacturer in the electric car space and I’m not sure they really know how to claim that space in the long-run. So you gotta say crazy things and make outrageous claims to try and show why your product is so amazing...
It’s a little...
So much this. A $50k Model 3 is not a good deal, no matter how you slice it. A $100k Model S is also not a good deal. And the fact that the $35k Model 3 has manual seats and basically no frills that one would expect from a car... are you kidding me? And to get a color other than black, better...
I’ve long been a fan of Tesla. I almost bought a Model S... then I almost bought a Model 3. I like the cars even if I’m not sure I want it as my main daily driver like my Ram. It’s more of a “fun” car to me.
With that said, I’ve been growing dismayed at the holier than thou attitude of Tesla of...
Similar situation too... wife wanted a small SUV and she wanted a Benz GLC. Similar price to the Ram I just got but I can barely stand the Benz now. It’s just such a downgrade compared to my truck. The Rams just pack so much bang for the buck that it is hard to beat with almost any other...
Wondering if anyone has looked into it or not... I have a Laramie that I love but I didn’t get air suspension and after reading the positive reviews on it, I kind of want to take a test drive with it and possibly add it now. Does anyone know if it is possible to add air suspension and how much...
I lived in CA. At most it was $100 a month and that was because I had a speeding ticket or two on my record. But yes if you have a terrible record or are a new driver it could be huge. I will concede that.
Yes maintenance is to be considered. That is true. And maybe on a Volvo it is more but I...
I like to lease cars and buy them out if I want to keep them. For me, it’s a low cost “trial run” that I can use to decide if I like or don’t like the car and also decide if it’s a lemon or not. I like that I can just say I will pay $25k or whatever on the lease over 3 years and if life...
Following. I got the regular suspension but didn’t test drive an air one. I’ve been wondering if I made the right decision given that it seems like it would be more comfortable so I’m curious on opinions...
Or if you feel like you got screwed over by the dealership in the buying process like I did, this helps placate that feeling somewhat...
Now what to buy with it .
I have the same patriot blue but without the chrome accent. Love the color but now after seeing those pics I wish I had the accent. That looks amazing!
I applied for mine a couple weeks ago. Still waiting to hear back. I know some people have said the check is on the way but has anyone actually received it?
Getting 14.5 MPG, about 600 miles. Daily commuter driving to and from work in the Seattle area. I’m actually stunned at how much the Ram engine can stay off in freeway traffic. If I didn’t have the eTorque I think my mileage would be a lot worse.
I’m shocked to see this thread. Was looking more at short beds but here in Washington the inventory was mostly 6’4”s. Dealer commented though that the 8’ ones are brutal to sell.
I originally wanted the shorter bed but now like both the look and utility of the slightly longer bed.
Thanks for this post! Very informative!
One question though: I read a lot about “gas quality”. Is that something quantifiable? What makes a gas bad or good? Is it “stale” gas?
