I financed mine through MD and just had to get it inspected when I got home and send them the inspection. They then submitted the Registration app and info to Texas DMV (Dallas Tax). I got my car on March 31 and don't think I got my tags until the end of May.
If you paid via bank draft from...
Yes, absolutely true. I signed up after I ordered mine and Aaron told me to use that then I would have to decline the incentives at time of order and accept the ones when I picked up... but shorter answer is yes, have to have it for 30 days to get the code they need.... also, it's 30 days from...
I replaced it myself. A bit of a learning curve, but fairly simple once you get going. Front is a pain b/c you have to remove the mirror, but once I figured it out, the second door only took about 15 minutes. I'm going to list all the chrome that I took off in the next day or so in the buy...
Also, some of the incentives are dependent on options. I ordered a Longhorn and incentive on RAM site said $1k, but MD only showed $500. When I called and did some digging, it was $1k if you got the V6.... who's going to order a V6 on a Longhorn? Anyway, there's fine print that's not shown on...
I read MANY posts here before and since ordering in January and I haven't seen anyone claiming to have gotten 10% below invoice (at least in the last year). I think 5% is the "standard" right now and when I quoted a Laramie, a Longhorn and a Limited, they were all between 4.7 and 5% below invoice.
That's correct, the Ram site is notoriously behind on updating for their price increases. I believe any incentives are also included in the MSRP it spits out whereas anything you get from a dealer for MSRP will not include incentives.
Went back to check (I ended up ordering a Longhorn) and Limited MSRP $72,120, MD Price $62,769 before incentives. All trims I priced (LTD, Longhorn, Laramie) were between 12-13% off MSRP
Not at MD, try about another 7-8. My quote 2 mos ago for a limited was 63.5k... Limited L1, 4x4, pretty loaded. There's more margin and greater savings in the higher trims I believe.
Here she is! A lot of wonkiness with Stellantis servers as @triple_B can tell you. Build sheet 3/15, Window Sticker 3/27 and on the dealer lot 3/30. I can only assume that the window sticker was produced much earlier than 3/27 to make the train ride to Port Allen and trip to Mark Dodge. Picked...
I was in and out. Had a flight that landed at 11 and I was on the road back to Dallas by 1. Had a paint "issue" that needed to be looked at before I left. It was some extra epoxy from the rear window.
Picked up my truck this morning and just got back home. The entire process has been great. Met Aaron and he was very interested from feedback on the process and ensuring it was a good experience. Just all around good people there.
HA!!! Good catch, never noticed that! Wait wasn't very long compared to many others, but my Silverado had lifter problems at 8k miles, so I went ahead and got rid of it while the market was hot. It's been a long 3 months as a one car family (truck was in shop for a month to get the lifters...
