Replaced the OEM battery after 46K miles and 4 years. Easy removal and install, but the climate control and infotainment screen lost their collect minds after power restore. Overnight rest and all back to normal. Found a thread on this board indicating the overnight reboot period might be...
An Update:
So....back window replaced, headliner replaced, windshield removed, broken and replaced after long wait. All told truck has been in shop 4 times, and about 45 days total. The dealer did a nice job. Clean install, detailed the truck and fuel topped up. Not even the dealer I bought it...
So the headliner and windshield are approved....2 week est. delivery. They did a nice clean job with the rear window replacement. I hate that they have to tear out the windshield and the headliner now. Talk about a high cost (to Ram thank goodness) warranty repair.
So here’s the current situation on my 2019 limited rear window leak. Dealer replaced the rear window under warranty, of course the rear seat had to come out, etc. they tried to clean the headliner (it’s light tan) but it’s not coming clean, so now talking about ordering a new headliner.....and...
Reporting back after my service appointment 2/4/21. So, the “Water Doctor” determined that the leak is due to cracks in the rear window frame directly above the upright dividers on each side of the sliding rear window. Dealership has photographed and documented the issue to Chrysler and is...
So I’m late to the party here, but just saw that my headliner is stained in the rear, both corners. I’m under warranty so I have an appointment with my local dealer on 2/4/21 with “The Water Doctor”. I suspect the high brake light/cargo light. I’ll report back on what gets found, fixed, or...
Called for service appointment.....Some heavy thunderstorms coming, so I garaged the truck. It’s all back to normal.
Don’t you just love this intermittent electronic stuff.
So, stopped for gas, put the truck in park, and both side steps deployed out. Turned it off stay deployed, open and close doors on both sides, stay deployed. Restart and turn shift knob, when it hits R they retract, when it hits N they re-deploy, when it hits D they retract. Opposite action...
Dropped mine off last night at the spa! :D
Getting ceramic coat and Expel on the panels under the headlights. Missing it already. It sits outside a lot, especially during summer so hoping the ceramic helps to protect the paint. First vehicle I’ve had ceramic done on.
Used G2 caliper paint off Amazon. It’s a DIY product. 2 part paint. I masked off and painted carefully around clips and such without removing the calipers. You do need to be ready to do all four together, 2-3 coats. Once you mix the paint you have several hours to use it. Jack car up on stands...
Beautiful! Really a great shot with the morning sunrise on the side. The tonneau looks great too. Best of luck with it. Have you pulled the trailer yet?
I think you’ll like it.
No issues at all with the RamBox doors. They open and close freely and stay open if left up.
The closure lever is smooth and has nicely rounded corners. Could you catch it and bend it? Probably. But, I think if you are aware it’s there you should be fine. In the...
