It sounds like you got a lemon and the problems are just bring compounded by the service available to you.
The dealer techs are so hit and miss that even if you get good service it could be a totally different experience the next time.

Is your drive set up with folders or is your music all in one folder?
I had a similar issue and when I removed the folders it got much better.
My issue was the song playing for a few seconds and then starting over, so not exactly the same.
I feel like others had to issue you are having and...
I will not dispute that Mark Dodge is "the place" the buy, if I were looking seriously they are the first place I would contact.

I drive a 2021 Bighorn and I have 9500 miles.
It's my daily driver but I only drive about 20 miles round trip to work.
Throw in weekend trips with the wife - I don't like driving her car - and a couple of cross state trips and you end up with a low miles truck.
Doesn't mean it was problematic...
I think you should be legally required to have a notice on your vehicles so the rest of us can stay the heck away from you.

Does anyone know why I have to turn wi-fi on for it to work?
I understand having Bluetooth on, it is a Bluetooth adapter after all, it just doesn't make sense to me to have to have wi-fi on. I never have it on otherwise.
I was having the same problem for a while.
Then I read a thread somewhere on this site that said to make sure your music is not organized in folders.
Changed my set up and it has worked for me.
It does still do that every once in a great while, but not every time.
