I run only 87 so far - winter fuel at that. No audible knock. Plus, modern factory engine management includes knock sensors.
If the fuel quality is poor enough to induce knock, the ECU will just retard timing. Nothing bad will happen at all - you just may not get optimum performance.
I’ll chime in with another stout recommendation for the Pulsar.
Ridiculous bang for buck, simple install, and easily reversible for dealer visits. (Although no tech will ever care or notice if you are not there for motor warranty issues.)
A previous poster’s suggestion that the dealer could...
The Pulsar doesn’t have a screen. It goes one step further and integrates with the screen in your centre console. Awesome UI.

The doors would not latch shut in the cold - especially in the rear where my kids were sitting. Parts to repair this known issue were not available according to my closest dealer. Like not available for the foreseeable future.
The dealer from whom I bought the truck managed to locate parts...
Dramatically improved throttle tip in from a start. The truck feels, in my opinion, quite sluggish from the factory. The Pulsar makes it accelerate with authority from the line. In fact, it is so aggressive that I typically use Tow mode rather than Performance.
Performance mode requires a fair...

The forums are pretty jammed with issues with these trucks - as is the nature of Internet forums. In order to combat the perception that these trucks may be particularly...
I find these conclusions very surprising.
On my Limited, I just installed Ridge Grapplers in a 33.5 x 12.5 x 22 and they rub like crazy at high steering angles in Entry/Exit mode.
I used FORScan extensively on the F150 I had before my Ram and it was fantastic.
You were able to add auto folding mirrors, change boot up graphics, add features like hill descent control, and modify all sorts of settings.
All mods were easily reversible and undetectable by the dealer.
It...
Definitely a defect. Woke up to a - 16 degree (celcius) morning today and everything was crystal clear. That is not proper behaviour.

Are these the 12 ply tires comfortable? How much has the amazing factory ride deteriorated? Are the very noisy?
I ordered the same setup last night but am having cold feet about ride and noise.
Feedback appreciated!
Edit: Reading through more comments above, it appears my questions have been...
Sorry for the double post but I emailed B2 and, to their credit, they responded within minutes.
Their site description was incorrect and their direct fit systems do indeed require cutting out the OEM muffler. They indicated that my only option was a cat back from another manufacturer, so I just...
I've got a Pulsar in shipping from a fellow board member and just ordered the Magna flow 19429 that several board members seem thrilled with.
Hopefully this will improve the situation somewhat.
The truck is absolutely amazing with respect to comfort, tech, and amenities - just needs to be...
The part description indicates that no welding or cutting is required, but the install instructions indicate that you need to cut off the stock muffler.
What is right? I’m looking for a complete bolt on solution.
Cheers

Any cutting or welding required? The website is not totally clear on this - indicates only that “most systems” will not require cutting/welding.
Thanks!
