My 2020 DT just started doing the same thing. My exhaust manifolds have been ticking for a while, but now they’re pretty bad. Started surging when the got bad. Wondering if it’s leaning out causing the surge.

Leave it in 4 hi/low or 4x4 auto… shut it off and start back up.. clicks ticks are gone unless you you have a manifold problem.. different animals..

There are quite a few clicks and ticks on startup.. actuators solenoids etc., depending on your options there’s usually about 5. All normal On the new rams. welcome To the forum!

I had a problem like that with my ANC as well.. I know they said they ruled it out. Probably did if they are swapping exhaust etc.. but you can unplug both harnesses on the ANC to verify. Worked on mine.. I’m using an ANC bypass harness now and no more droning

65k is the warranty.. past that just got to keep an eye on tread depth depending on driving habits…

Mine is/are getting bad as well. Tugged on the heat shields, nothing broken there. Looks like I have the updated brackets on the upper flange.. guessing the manifold itself is cracked.
