Hopefully this was a one off issue and I'm not about to learn how many corners are getting cut at the factory to get the electronics needed to keep the production lines moving.

This issue was on me ... there was one part of the instructions I was not following.

I have a set. Toyota had no bypass so I had to have them. I'd prefer to just turn it off personally. I wonder if the door open + push pushing brake trick still works. I've heard they closed that loop.

2021 Laramie

It was the usb hub module. They replaced it and it works again. Maybe uconnect will improve their software error messaging to be a bit more specific

I unpaired all Bluetooth devices, which was just my phone. It is back at the dealership today .. initial speculation was that it might be the usb hub malfunctioning. Sounds like it is a known issue.

Repeated process three times today. Each time, I get the acknowledgement chime and for about 10-20sec, I just get the seatbelt light with no chimes. But then my truck starts chiming again. Turn it off, rinse and repeat and it works for a short time and then reverts. Along with constantly...

Because it scares away the deer and pigs when I'm hunting. In the woods where I'm not going to use the belt. And, yes, it is legal to do not wear it on private property.

My uconnect went into an endless loop of "Device Not Supported" pop ups. Turned off phone (Samsung S21 Ultra) and even unplugged USB cable and it won't stop. Even turned off my truck and restated. It won't stop. Is this a known issue?

Just picked up my new 1500 Ecodiesel yesterday. Laramie southwest edition, off road package, trailer package etc. Previously owned 2004 1500 quad cab hemi 4x4. Been driving 2012 Tundra in between.
