I just put new Bilstein springs, and 5100 shocks in the back of my truck. I can't manage to tighten the nut on the top. The stem doesn't have a flat side to grab with a wrench. Also, the shock doesn't seem to be getting compressed enough. The nylock nut just won't go on far enough to even expose...
I just put new heavier rear springs in my truck today. I'm not pleased with the results right now. I got Bilstein springs and 5100 shocks. It was supposed to raise the rear about an inch and a half, but measured at the wheel opening, it actually raised it more like 2 1/2 inches. I know it will...
At the risk of beating a dead horse, I have one more thought. Might my inability to adjust the headlights down far enough be a suspension thing? I have 2" Motofab leveling spacers. It's the 3rd Ram I've done this to, and I've never had an issue with the stock halogens being too high. In fact, my...
So you mean the particular bulb you received was defective, right? Not that their products are lousy. I was contemplating getting some. Were they for your Ram?

Any advice on adjusting them? I replaced everything with Lasfit led bulbs. They look great, but I can't get them adjusted properly. I've got them oriented 12 and 6, and I've aimed them as low as they'll go. I'm still getting flashed constantly, and I can see them shining way up on street signs...
That would have been nice, but I'm afraid I don’t have adaptive cruise or lane keep assist. Most of the driving was on back roads though, he was only one stop from his intended exit off the highway.
Last night I drove 75 miles, rented a car trailer, drove another 20 miles to find my son. He was broken down just off the interstate. Loaded his car, then found a hotel to spend the night. Got up this morning and drove him to his destination another 100 miles further away. Towed the car all the...
I'm always one for a good nostalgia trip, especially about previous vehicles. The first thing I did when I graduated from college was to buy a brand new 1993 Jeep Wrangler. It was red, with a tan soft top, and I paid exactly $11,700 for it. It is absolutely mind boggling to me how much the...
Has anyone had updates that solved all the bugs in this system? It's starting to drive me crazy. I don't listen to music on my phone, I like Sirius, have for probably 15 years. At least twice a week, sometimes 3 times, the system erases all my presets and favorites. Most times it also changes...
Has anyone replaced their halogen rear blinkers with LED bulbs? I did all my bulbs with Lasfit LEDs. So far so good. I've got smoked taillight lenses, so I want to upgrade the bulbs. Lasfit doesn't list an application for the rears, only fronts. They're 7440 amber bulbs, so I would think if I...
I was going to replace the gasket on my 22 with MD Marine weatherstripping like others have. After I took the screws out it became obvious that it's stuck on pretty firmly. I would have had to get a pry tool to remove it. I decided to leave it be.
I know this thread is really old, but I'm using it for guidance right now. I get as far as logging into google. When I click on upload to google drive, it says no data available. Any idea why this might be? A lot of the options seem to be gray instead of red. Seems like that's a problem. I keep...

That bezel part is the one I ordered. It didn't fit; like I said they were way too short. I've ordered another set using a different part number I found on this site. Let's hope these fit.
