Company. Put my tungsten order in today. Everything except off road package. No vin or order # yet but will post as i learn more. Heck my dealer only just got their first stripped down big horn on the lot.
Have custom ordered many german cars in the...
Ram is very happy with the new battery. Replaced for free too under warranty from duralast/autozone. fwiw- all the software/buttons fully returned after just a few hours this time. Interestingly- it had also been taking a while to change from 2wd to 4wd auto and 4wd high in past few montjs...
First oem battery dead at 35k. Now second a Duralast platinum killed at 80k. Sitting outside in cold for a day, maybe less, and locks wouldn't even work (and had quite a bit of trouble turning the backup key!. I guess its just a thing every 3 or 4 oil changes drop in a new battery?
Just coming back on this. Back outboard passenger seatbelt latch kept locking up every few weeks-requiring wd 40 or silicon spray to unjam. I ordered a replacement from the dealer for about 125 bucks. Easy replace/install- albiet also requires replacement of the center seat’s belt as well...
Anyone change this yet? Manual recommends Mopar 44-44 ot 44-45. While I was in at the dealer for another part I asked for the correct transfer case lubricant and they gave me Mopar 75W-85 oil. Does not seem like the right stuff.
I am going to hold off on this for now until I figure it out!
Anyone have trouble with the seat belt latches? Ive had to spray silicon in one of mine a few times as it keeps getting stuck. Its possible the kids spilled stuff there of course. Curious if any others had an issue
Definitely have noticed this on mine. Chalked it up to RAM being really bad at panel fitment. My drivers side is worse but I also use that one a lot more and usually its stuffed with stuff. That said - I REALLY love having these. Its such a great feature for how I use the truck. I...
I have a second set for winter and change them over once a year. Pretty easy to do my ONLY advice is to find a second set of rims that only has one set of holes. My winter tire set that I ordered from tire rack have 2 sets of holes and its always a pain to line them up. TPM system...
NEVER saw this. It clearly worked - when I jumped the vehicle to get it running the dash was lit up like a christmas tree with all the safety gizmos turned off.
My Limited ate its battery in about 35,000 miles. I thought I had a parasitic drain but replaced it and ....just fine since. BEWARE though when you replace the battery your truck will temporarily lose a lot of its features like surround cam, passenger heated and cooled seats, even the...
Man it is. I was killing myself trying go get the fronts off until I discovered this. All credit to that guy on youtube. I think he has received a lot of cases of beer as thanks!
Update - just did the back pads and rotors at 39k miles. My pads were down to nothing - one was less than a mm away from metal. Actually couldn't find new hardware (spring and clips) anywhere so cleaned and reused what I had. Few notes:
-Electronic parking brake retractor works like a...
This was my first ever truck so I leased it figuring easy give back at the end if I hated it. I did a "one pay lease" so wrote a check up front for all the lease payments to make it as cheap as possible. Turns out I love the truck and already have 40k miles on it with a 30k lease....so I'll be...
first truck ive ever had. Leased in case I didn't want it after a few years. Of course now at 2 years I have 35k miles on a 3 year /30k mile lease and I love the damn thing. My plan as of now is to write a check at the end for the buyout but curious if anyone has dealt with this with...
To close the loop from my end - I had really been worried about an error or parasitic draw somewhere and spending days at the dealer figuring out where the problem was.. However sure enough new battery has held perfectly for a week including in some -15 degree F temps. Cranking no problem...
