Ordered leveling airlinks (and they’re on sale)

So after posting this and cycling the suspension a few times, later I parked in off-road 2 and came back out from the store and got the payload error. man does it ride bad and bouncy over aired. It’s brutal. So I guess I can’t go all the way up with these or I’ll have to shorten them. But I see...

Ordered leveling airlinks (and they’re on sale)

Just installed them today, pretty easy. No lights or anything. Rides fine to me and sits level. Money well spent imo. ride wise, to me it’s better on small bumps because it’s firmer. The stock ride is too mushy for me on small bumps. But the larger bumps at speed are a little rougher. Not bad...

Ordered leveling airlinks (and they’re on sale)

All depends on what you consider level I suppose. I didn’t want to lower anything, nor did I want to go any higher on the front causing a rough ride like OR2. I read a few reviews on these and people like the ride and said all the modes still work correctly.

Ordered leveling airlinks (and they’re on sale)

While I wait for the FTS kit that seems to never be coming, or maybe the superlift kit that is “almost done”.... I decided to just order some leveling links for the front. Figured I would still need them for the lift anyways if I keep the air ride. also, the whole point of me posting...

BDS 4" air lift getting installed

while I haven’t done this, yet anyways, it seems pretty simple, swapping the parts Out is easy. You don’t have to pull the air lines and compressor and all that, IIRC you just pull 1-2 fuses and use that Ram version of Forscan. Can’t remember what it’s called off the top of my head. But it plugs...

    6 inch Lift Kit Price/Cost

What do you mean? Those are the prices I paid for all the parts. I ended up trading the truck in on my new one while they had 0% for 84 months. Unsure if it was actually a good decision lol, but it’s been done. I wanted to go bigger so I was kind of stuck. I had amps on the truck, left them...

    Right Front Chirp/Squeak

I think the reason that some dealerships dont want to mess with it is that: 1) brakes are a wearable item which is always a grey area for warranty coverage 2) it’s one of those things that’s hard to diagnosis, hard to fix. Then the customer comes back and says you didn’t fix it and blah...

I don’t recall my old pro comp kit effecting them but maybe I blocked that out lol.

    DEF consumption, normal?

I was talking about the packaging guys, not the product. The box the peak fluid comes in worked fine with no leaks. I was just commenting on the box jugs working well from peak, not sure if all the other brands use the same container or not.

    DEF consumption, normal?

That might be part of it. I’ve been impressed with the peak brand one they sell everywhere. Although I’ve only used two boxes lol.

    Turbo/Exhaust Behavior

Interesting. I’m almost at 5k miles and haven’t seen a regen message yet either. I do a decent amount of 75-85mph highway driving, but I’ve noticed times when it seemed like the fuel mileage was just off.

    Exhaust, CAI

    DEF consumption, normal?

I used to have that problem back years ago but now they seem fine. Are you buying the standard blue def box deal? I was just thinking how they did a great job improving these since the last time I had used one (2014).
