You're better off getting a Limited/Longhorn grille, since there are subtle differences between the TRX and Limited/Longhorn grilles, including the center hood dimple, the flat bottom edge (against the bumper), and the fact that TRX fenders are wider than Limited/Longhorns. The headlight units...
I don't carry much in the bed, but when I do and it slides toward the front, I just flip open the bed cover sections, grab it from the side, and shove it toward the back to get it out via the tailgate, then reset the bed cover sections (Undercover Ultra Flex - just like a BakFlip).
Thanks! That's what they said at West Texas Off Road, since I'd gotten the tires the next day. I'm letting the tires mark the area and I'll hit that one of these weekends.
I need to get better pics, but here's my 2021 Limited Longhorn with a MaxTrac 3/1 lift/level kit and 285/55R22 Nitto Recon Grapplers. There's just a very slight 'plasticky' rub when backing up with the wheels at full lock. The whole thing only raised the seat height about 2" - which at 6'5", I...
They can't put a battery in it for diagnostic purposes?! Or utilize a power source to simulate the new battery (i.e., a charger)?! Or even bypass the eTorque battery (if that's the battery they're speaking of) just for diagnostic purposes?! Find a new stealership - those guys suck...
I had a set of those in my 2012 Lone Star and loved the idea of having them, but didn't really use them much since only weird-sized stuff fit in them (pretty much small tool kits or loose tools and items).
Once I saw the embedded cargo lights in my '21 Longhorn, I decided not to get another...
Oops - my bad. Yes, it's a 2019. It was a long day of working on the Jeep.
Next up on the list: install and configure both the Tazer and Pedal Monster.
So this just happened today. While the Jeep's Edelbrock EFI is still giving us the middle finger, I snuck out yesterday to take Clifford to West Texas Off Road and had a nice MasterTrac 3/1 lift/level kit installed, and today went to Discount Tire and had a set of Nitto Recon Grapplers...
Actually, I shut the truck off in the driveway, opened the door for a few minutes & closed it, waited a few minutes, started it back up, and still nada. That's when I pulled the USB drive and brought into the house to check functionality.
This morning, I fired up the truck, popped in the USB...
Just had it happen again today. Temps in West Texas hit 114 today. I hopped in the truck, started it up and the USBs were all inert but the stereo seemed to be working fine otherwise (listened to the local radio station on the way home - remembering why I listen to my USB tunes all the time)...
Carfax is junk.
My wife's 2015 Camaro 2LT had a clean Carfax, but shortly after we bought it from a local stealership learned that it had been a rental car, and crashed sometime after having been stolen (information I found online by looking up the VIN, and Carfax should've had but didn't)...
I get where you're coming from, and I've also never had cars loaded with gadgets to such a level. However, I was just curious to know if anybody else was experiencing the same result and if this was abnormal or a trend. Seems to me like an almost $80,000 vehicle shouldn't have such simple...
Does anyone know where the outside temperature sensor is located, and is anybody experiencing a significant difference in what the truck shows vs the actual temperature?
Mine is typically showing 126+ when I hop in after work (around 5:00PM) and the outside temps are actually 'only' in the...
Mine did this last night after shutting down with the USB playing - no music output from any source when I started back up (system menu beeps and warning sounds worked fine, though - I don't have Sirius either... trial ran out sometime last year). Drove it a few miles to my next destination...
Count me in as not happy with the Goodyears. I bought my '21 Longhorn last July with 4800 miles on it, and the tires looked fine. I now have just over 13K miles, and the rears have noticeably less tread left than the fronts (probably like 1/3 less). Granted, the 3.92s might contribute, since...
I do like the 4" w/35s better... looks a bit more proportional.
Oddly enough, the idea of 35s on full size trucks just doesn't seem like that much of a big deal anymore. Here's a shot of a '97 Club Cab (identical to my first Ram) on 35s - kind of illustrates just how much bigger our trucks...
