“Characteristic” Ram 1500 Driveline Vibration
Perhaps time is well past due to initiate a class action lawsuit against FCA regarding this issue. I love everything about my 2019 Limited except for the driveline vibration - in many instances, ridiculously so. Multiple dealer visits to address...
I’ve taken my Limited in four times for them to address this issue. The last visit they had it for six days. Each time they balance the tires, do a four corner alignment and consider it fixed. It’s not. And I’m at the point where I’m about to dump this truck because of it.
Maybe Lydia can answer why CarPlay has never worked flawlessly on FCA vehicles. Between screen locks (pic), connection errors, constant unplugging of USB cord, etc., it’s absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. I experienced the same connectivity issues on our ‘14 Grand Cherokee.

Until the dealership addresses the issue I can only speculate the hood is glued on and the adhesive is separating. Pressing down on the hood gives the indication it’s definitely installed in a climate controlled environment as it seems to be too small - it doesn’t naturally lay flush with dash...
Others have posted various ‘fixes’ to address this issue - including adjusting the front panel held by six torx screws. I decided to give a try this weekend an it truly did the trick. I loosened the front four and as soon as the rear two were loosened the panel dropped nearly 1/8”. Tightened...
It does. My wife has the same vehicle and there’s a notable difference in ride quality and noise in her Acura compared to my Limited. I’ll take my truck any day of the week over her RDX. Note; to keep the peace, I’ll never share with her these sentiments... [emoji57]

I posted a similar thought and the next day discovered it’s doable on the 12” screen. Go to Uconnect apps and hold down the feature (heated drivers seat for example) and drag and drop it onto the ribbon at the bottom of the screen. There are limited number of features that can be placed there so...
Another benefit is the climate control for the seats. On the 12” they’re only accessible by selecting its dedicated screen. They’re not even available on the two-up split screen setting. Buttons can’t be beat for seat settings.

Despite the issues we’ve all experienced with our ‘19 Ram trucks, it’s important to keep in mind no vehicle is immune to issues. Before selecting Ram (after six months) I read a number of posts on Ford and GM boards and even late model F150s and Sierra’s have their fair share of problems...
The sub in this vehicle has a lot to be desired. At times it’s just okay, other times it’s worse; it’s nothing more than an inadequate filler. Not only does it rattle against the bulkhead it sounds like someone hitting deadened cardboard - there’s absolutely no resonance.
C’mon engineers, quit...
Re: Lomax, if they’d only add a locking mechanism it looks like it would be perfect. Just struggling with the fact it can be opened with a coat hanger.
