I have the eTorque hemi and my passenger side manifold cracked. Dealer replaced under warranty. Now just waiting for the inevitable failure of the driver's side. Are the replacement manifolds any different from the factory stock one? Have many had multiple failures?
The dealership had to meet a quota to get their incentives. If you are the right person, they will actually sell a truck at a loss to them because if they do not get there sales quota met they will come out even more negative. The new truck cost me about $7000. Part of the savings was that i...
I traded in my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited with a 3.21 rear end for a 2020 model with a 3.92 and e-Torque. Didn't really need it but the dealership was in a pinch due to low sales at this time and made me an offer I could not refuse. So I got basically the same truck, same color, with a lighter...
Does anyone know how to disable the truck from automatically engaging the emergency brake when you put the truck in gear with the driver door ajar? I frequently back up on my property and would like to disable this feature. There are other similar functions that will automatically engage the...
Mine seems to work fine. It might take 5-10 minutes to get the first set of data after starting the truck, but that is understandable. After that, it continually updates every 5-10 min.
Here is an interesting issue. My daughter in law told me that I speed and I assured her that I do not. I did change my tires to an 8 ply Michelin when I purchased the truck and had to buy a one size larger. Should not have affected the speedometer by more than one mph. I checked it with an...
The benefit that I see for running a higher octane fuel is to allow the engine to run in ECO at higher speeds. My truck will not engage in ECO above 60 mph. I assume that it is due to the increased load on the engine is/may cause knocking. The higher octane will allow the engine to have an...
We had to go to a party the other day an hours drive from the house. My wife said that the food she was cooking needed more time. We took the crock pot and put in on the back floor, plugged it in, and finished the cooking on the drive over. The crock pot was rated for 300W. Never though I...
Pulled mine by just taking a utility knife and cut right where the fliter meets the black frame. Four cuts with the knife and it was out. The frame for the filter just stays in place out of the way.
I just insert my padded case in the small cubby under the door handle. I leave in unzipped but pushed closed. With the black door and black pistol case it is hardly noticeable, even when the door is open. Yet it is readily available.
