Pentastar MPG
2019 Ram 1500, V6 Pentastar gasoline engine, 10K miles since new in April: Truck is rated at 19/21/24. City and combined mileage ok to great, averaging 22.5 day in/out. "Spike", 2019 1500 3.6L Pentastar miles per gallon, 1st 6,500 miles.
I get a consistent 21-22 mpg on the highway and 20ish otherwise. I've only seen the rated 24 mpg hiway with a tail wind or downhill. Any slight upgrade or head wind knocks the tranny back to 7th or 6th and eats gas. Not impressive, and not as advertised. My calculations are by miles...- Lowly Jimson
