These aren’t quite yesteryear more like yesterday as I am not that old yet haha!
I am in the works of buying an Olds 442, so hopefully I can share that too.
When I lived in Chicago mpg mattered!
2016 Silverado I traded in for my ram. Really liked this truck but had twins and needed the crew...
Install for front if you’ve never done a set probably hour and a half maybe a little more. Your thumbs and hands will be tired by end of job for sure. No disassembly required, they go right over existing factory cover.
They fit VERY tight, I’ve found it helpful to set them in sun first to get...
Not great photos, just what I had. They are holding up great. My third set on a truck. Install can be a pain but can’t beat the look for “covers” no one knows they aren’t real that sits in the car.
Agreed, I have the fx muffler welded in at my shop. I specifically wanted something moderate and not aggressive as I like my neighbors and wife and kids. It’s definitely louder at start up and moderate under acceleration but can come alive if you get heavy footed. Unlike chambered flowmasters...
Lots to consider and you will get both sides of opinion.
Factory is 3”. Older gens were the 2.5” I believe.
I had just the flowmaster muffler installed at the best shop in town and cost was 150$ total. I bought muffler and took to shop for install. For me it was the way to go as the “direct...
Looks like the consensus is to leave the 4x4 decals off.
Hmm now what to do with them? Slap em on the wife’s AWD Terrain, I’m sure she would love that 😂🤣
Removed the 4x4 on the bed. The gray just didn’t look right with everything else black.
Black 4x4 came in but not sure I want to install as it looks clean without it. I need your help!! Add the 4x4 in black or leave it removed??
Paint corrected and applied 303 graphene coating on everything down to the wheel well liners. Interested to see how this stuff holds up. Need a good sun pic once cured a few hours.
Nice enough weekend to finally do the full detail and correction. Took about 6 1/2 hours. Coated with 303 graphene, even did the wheel liners. Looking forward to just maintenance washes and spray ceramic touch ups rest of year haha.
Need to get a sun pic tomorrow.
Congrats! That tank color is pretty sweet with the black accents. Saw one in person driving last night and it caught my attention as something “different”.
Factory rears are 18%, closest you will get is 20%. As others have said: go ceramic blocks much more heat, 20% can take some getting used to at night, might be illegal in your state(many get away with it)
Heres mine at 20% on fronts, no windshield tint. It’s overcast and sunny a very close match.
