Front end ‘clunk’ add me to the list

If it comes back check the front body mounts.

    Magnaflow Surprise!

The theory behind it is that if you free up the exhaust flow, the throttle angle is less at a given speed. This may be bro science but my lifetime average of 14.5mpg is slowly creeping up and that's a mix of city/hwy driving. Stoked to put a few more miles on it and see what it does. The...

FOX or KINGS!? WHICH IS TRULY BETTER?

Towing should be the same since you're not changing the rear springs, maybe better with the 2.5 shocks in the rear. I went with the extended travel Fox 2.5's with Zone uca's and the 2.5 rear shocks and am simply blown away by the plush ride and their ability to soak up everything. Expensive but...

    Magnaflow Surprise!

Installed a bolt in Magnaflow can yesterday. The installation went smooth, but I wasn't really sold on the added noise. I thought maybe I'd get used to it. Today I did a 100 mile round trip drive to visit the in-laws and my avg mpg went from 14.5 to 17.5! Sounds great now... 😂

    Bilstein Level Installed - Issue

I suspect the body mount at this point, going to get under there to check it out. Have checked everything else. Getting some Fox 2.5's installed Monday, super stoked!

    Bilstein Level Installed - Issue

Nope still does it, I'm pretty sure it's the Bilsteins topping out. Super annoying.. I ordered some Fox's and will post up if that eliminates it.

    Aftermarket lockers

    $3K dang son!

    Aftermarket lockers

There are no e-lockers out there for our trucks unfortunately. I'm currently having my dealer check if they can install a limited slip on my Laramie. Buy one with the locker!

    Open Differential? Not so much.

@Old Mike - Same situation here, 20 leftover truck that's loaded but no locking diff or limited slip! I even have the off road skid plates. How do you like the True Track so far? Since we can't add an e-locker, this is likely the direction i'll go.

Hows your fwd collision auto braking doing?

I'm on the fence with it, had the system hit the brakes backing into a parking spot yesterday. About gave me whiplash, it brakes pretty hard. Probably going to turn it off.

    Bilstein Level Installed - Issue

It seems to be loosening up over time and feeling better but it still clunks everytime the suspension tops out. Fox's might be in my future.

    Open Differential? Not so much.

    Definitely more testing required...

    Open Differential? Not so much.

According to my window sticker I should have a peg leg diff. No limited slip mentioned. I turned off TC and was very happy to see this...

    Bilstein 5100

I have the Bilsteins set to 5 with some Zone UCA's and am getting a similar clunk at full droop that is driving me nuts. Might be the shocks topping out. Did you resolve yours yet? I'm almost pulling the trigger on some extended Fox 2.5 coilovers..

    Bilstein Level Installed - Issue

Hey all - I installed some Bilstein 5100 struts along with Zone UCA and Bilstein rear shocks on my 20 4x4. Love the firmed up ride and the look of the 275/70-18 General Grabber ATX's. Trouble is, when the suspension tops out over large bumps there's a clunk from the drivers side. Have read all...

20 Ram Leveling Kit - Tire Selection

Just ordered some Bilstein 5100's and Zone upper control arms for my truck and I'm torn on the tires. I ordered 275/70R18 General Grabber AT/X to go on my stock wheels but I'm thinking about going bigger. They have a Grabber AT/X 35x12.50R18 that measures out at 33". Any thoughts? 20 Laramie...
