Here's the before and after pictures of the 4" lift with Toyo ATIII 35x12.5/22 tires. 2" spacers were required because the tire was touching the knuckles without them due to the offset of the factory wheels. Overall I think it turned out fantastic. I've got to take it and get one of the...
Thanks for the info and for the pictures. Mine is the same color but has the night edition black 22" wheels on it. What size wheels and tires are those you are running? Wondering if the 35's I will be putting on my stock rims will require any mods to the wheel wells.
In preparation for my lift next week, I was thinking more about something I read months ago. When lifting 4", most people I think said to get longer rear sway bar end links. Does anyone know if this is included in the 4" zone lift kit? I can't find a parts list and the installation guide on...
I pulled the trigger today and scheduled my truck for the 4" Zone lift kit with new UCAs and Fox rear shocks and wrapping my factory 22" wheels in 35x12.5/22 Toyo ATIII tires. February 9th and 10th can't get here soon enough!
I saw that UCAs are an option with the BDS kit but didn't see it when configuring the Zone kit. I didn't add the upgraded UCAs since wasn't sure if it was worth it/needed for another $800+.
I do occasional off-roading but more just to get to a good hunting spot here or there and not for...
I'm looking at doing a 4" lift on my 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie Night Edition with stock 22" wheels, 4WD, and no air ride suspension. I had read that Zone lifts are owned by BDS lifts and that BDS has a better warranty. Besides that, what is the big difference in the $1000 difference in price? Was...
What size tire will you run with the 4" kit? I've got a 21 night edition with 22s but they look different so wondering how they compare offset and such. Was considering going 3 or 4" lift.
I've run 87 since the day I bought my 2021 (New Year's Eve last year). Never noticed any issues and drives like a dream. Never tried running a higher octane to see if it runs any better since it runs so good as is. The sales guy I dealt with said most customers he's sold them to all run 87, also.
What length camper and what is the estimated weight? Thinking about upgrading from our popup next year but I'm worried about how my truck will haul a long camper. The one I want that has a bunkhouse in it is 28 or 29' long I think.
I've heard people talk about it blocking the hole to lower the rear spare tire. Did it cover that hole up? I really want this light bar, also, but don't want to make it a pain to get my spare tire if ever needed.
Would I still use the 3.5" V2 rear monotube shocks with the 2.5 coils or would that cause any problems? Obviously doing lifts is new to me. There's a local shop that will install whatever I decide to go with.
Will your setup get rid of any of the rake or will it keep it? I'd like to get rid of most of the rake (maybe leave ~0.5"). Also, do you have a part number for the Clayton 3.5" coils for the rear? I found the other three items but couldn't nail down the Clayton coils.
Ride is definitely top...
Dang it. I installed my S-Type on Saturday and the passenger side was touching the bumper. After tinkering with it for an hour I called a local shop and they said I could bring it in within an hour so I jumped on it because I didn't want it damaging my bumper long term. Cost me $70 for them...
How did you do the install? Did you use only water or did you use a heat gun or both? I ordered some and they've come in so I'm ready to install but want to make sure I don't screw it up.
I would be very interested to get some pictures once you install the radio/climate knobs to see if the silver shows through like it seems to do on their website. If it covers the silver completely then I'll be ordering some for sure.
Here are the lug nuts I bought that were recommended by someone here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/143905797831
Here are the wheel locks I used also that were recommended here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007QB59DY/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_HT4Q63SDX2HNMJ1K534Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
