Remember that Ram sales figures are for DS & DT combined. The low-price of the Classic has pumped up sales for years, but the DS is also losing its value proposition.

I have the same exact sound and it’s definitely an electronic beep. It sounds like the parking sensors, but turning them off does nothing. I’ve had this issue for years and never been able to solve it. For me it only happens with a strong crosswind.

It eats both Valvoline synthetic 5w30 and Mobil 1 5w30. I bought some Pennzoil Euro LX 0w30 to try but I ending up using Redline 0w30 this winter.. but I do all my towing in the summer so I don’t know how either would do.

Was planning on switching to M1 0w40 this summer to see if it helps with consumption as my Hemi has been eating about 1 qt of 5w30 every 3k mi while towing. Have you been happy with the 0w40?

I assume you’re referring to this document that’s labeled DT… It also shows 65RFE trans, 32 gallon tank and no MFT option. This is DS document that’s mislabeled.

That document has weights for DS not DT. So that 33 lbs is for the old small sunroof not the large pano

That’s a zero option 5.7L Limited. Once you start adding optional equipment it drops from there.
