Yeah, I'm aware of the scavenging thing. Like I said, it's just my perception. And in the end, perception of how it feels is the final word in having fun.
I haven't heard a borla in person, but my ring doorbell captured this this morning. I don't see how Borla could be louder than this. The cold start is HELLACIOUS. I have to pretty much let it idle as I accelerate away or I'll wake the neighborhood.
Mornin' Y'all!
I just finished a one week trial of my straight pipe and resonator delete, and I have to say that straight pipe life is the only life for me.
I knew I would be happy with the sound, but there has been another, very surprising benefit. As we all know, there is a common...
Installed my Ranch Hand Wheel-to-Wheel steps today. Took 30 minutes. Now Mrs. Divine won't complain every time she gets in. Little does she know....I'm planning to lift it 6 inches in a month or so.
I also fixed my father-in-law's TJ. It had trouble starting and wouldn't idle. The IAC went...
I'm not military or public safety. But my daily drive to work takes me through 50 miles of road that have very high deer populations. And my hours put me driving at dawn and dusk, prime deer movement hours. I've hit two in older trucks and have had probably 10 near misses with the 2019 since I...
Not awful, but definitely time consuming. Use the addictive desert designs tutorial. I had a few holdups to find workarounds to my lack of tools. I thought I had everything based on the ADD guide, but it turns out one of the tow hook bolts is a 20mm. And it took me a bit to figure out how to...
Installed a Ranch Hand Summit Bumper/Grill Guard. Install took five hours. I'm still waiting on the Ranch Hand wheel-to-wheel steps I ordered on Sept. 7.
I may go ahead and order the back bumper from Ranch Hand as well to make it a full set.
In a month or so I'm ordering a set of Arkon...
Here you go. A few things I noticed:
Ranch Hands instructions for disassembly BLOW. Use the instructions on Addictive Desert Designs.

You can get the two outer 18mm bumper bolts with a 1/2" drive ratchet and...
I keep a tool bag with multiple socket and wrench sets, a tire iron and bottle jack, several extension cords, two ball hitches, a pintle hitch, a weight distributing hitch, tire chains, regular chain, some heavy tow straps, weedeater string and extra mower blades, and a couple empty beer cans...
Before my ORP truck with 3.92's was broken in, it was getting around 14-15 mpg combined. Now I've got about 28,000 miles, and get around 20 mpg combined. I do an even split time-wise of city and highway (a little over an hour of each a day) and calculate my mileage by hand. The computer is...
I've noticed an annoying issue with my 2019 Ram 5.7 hemi. When the engine is in 4 cylinder mode cruising around town, the truck makes a squeaking or chirping sound. It also does this when the truck is idling in drive. After playing around for a bit, I was able to make the noise stop by disabling...
That was my first thought. Kleen Strip premium stripper is available in a gel and is very easy to use. I use it very often at work, and there isn't much it won't take down to the substrate in 2-3 applications.
