I don’t think it’s the clock spring. It comes from the shaft that enters the firewall. I’m going to take mine back to the shop I will keep you posted.

I have this same rattle , is that what needs to be replaced ? Mine has been in the shop over a dozen times for different things. They just replaced the steering wheel itself but the rattle still persist. Has anyone figured out what this rattle is ?

I took my truck in for other repairs. There is actually a star case open with uconnect for this issue as they are aware of it. I was told there is supposed to be an update pushed in the 4th quarter of this year.

Bridgestone Duelers, seems like ever time they rotate the tires the ride gets worse.

Well I hate to admit it but the wobble is back after a tire rotation so I’m going to fight them to replace the crappy tires from the factory like I have asked since day one. I will keep everyone posted.

I feel like I do yes. It’s either behind the gauge cluster or in the steering wheel housing for sure and it’s not constant only on uneven roads. It doesn’t even do it when you hit a large bump.

I’m actually going to go back to the one I bought it from and take them all my work orders and see if they are willing to help if not next step is to lawyer up and get my money back.

My truck is now back at the dealer once again for more issues. When does it stop ? I have filed for arbitration and lost of course, now I’m stuck with a truck that doesn’t perform per FCA standards but yet no one wants to help.

Well they did a road force balance on mine as well as replaced the brakes, rotors and calipers. They also replaced the steering gear box which I believe was the main culprit for my shake and wobble. Have them try that it never hurts to start ruling it all out. After all that I now have a rattle...

I am having the same issue , same truck as you. I think there is something loose in the shaft or the housing for the horn/airbag.Keep me posted on what you find out at the dealer and I’ll do the same for you. Also do you have any excessive vibration in the steering wheel ?

Is anyone experiencing excessive steering wheel vibration? I thought it was the tires but the problem seems to be more than just that. Was was the fix ? I also have a rattle somewhere in the steering wheel that I can pin down. I have noticed it’s worse when it’s warmer outside.

Have them look at the steering gear , mine had to be replaced due to similar issue.

I have the same problem , I have taken the truck in 5x and they have replaced the rotors , calipers , pads and even road force balanced the tires and did a factory reset to the ecu and still mine shakes. I have filed a lemon law case w/ Chrysler. It’s sad they put no effort into helping these...
