Did you calculate in the 2.2% difference in increased diameter for the 305/45 Defenders?
If not then it would be closer to 15 mpg. The Defenders are smooth running tires for sure.
Thanks for the info. I still have time and tread to burn with the Eagles so I still have time to research. :)
Hi OCD,
Digging into some history here but I wanted to ask if you have seen any mileage drop in using these tires?
I'm starting the shopping to replace the Crapyears and loved the Michelins on my Jeep. What I find funny is the 285's cost more than the 305's.
There is also a drop in load rating...
Hi Adam thanks for the reply.
I was looking up that information as well. I also live in NH, the southern part near Windham.
I had noticed that when remote starting the engine stays at a higher rev for some time even while driving. I'm usually leaving when the oil temps hit about 130°F. I can...
Thanks for the helpful info Adam.
I have both cables as you have and I'll be installing mine soon, the Mopar version.
I'll also be installing NOCO AC plug receptacle into the front bumper. I'm still debating where it will go as I don't like the option of opening the hood or zip-tying the plug to...
The payload weight on my 2020 Limited says 1465lbs.
No sunroof, no MFG, no Ramboxes, every other option though.
Last time through scales I had the following: (this includes loaded bed, small dog, full tank of fuel and DEF, wife) I was standing outside the truck so add another 230 lbs for me...
I have a 2020 Limited EcoDiesel with the 3.21 gearing and I love it. I use it mostly for commuting to work but otherwise connect my 23FB Airstream. The 23FB Airstream max's out at 6000lb loaded and with a bed load of other camping equipment, it tows just fine. I usually get between 17-18 mpg...
Agreed, the stock Goodyears on the 22's are just plain crap in the snow.
I'd like to get better tires but don't want to replace these if I am going to switch to 20's and have to replace the rubber on those as well.
I have been thinking about the wheels a lot since purchasing my 2020 Limited. I purchased it off the lot and it has 22" wheels. Ps, the stock GY tires a crap in the snow.
Anyway, I purchased this truck so I can tow my Airstream trailer and I'm wondering if the 20's would provide a smoother, but...
Thank you for your follow up.
I wish Mopar spent a little more time in designing this to make it more solid and confirmed with many types of covers.
I'll look into the mod but it seems fairly simple to relocate the holes about 1/2". Did you lose the functionality of the moveable rail tie downs?
Bringing back an older thread.
I have a newly purchased 2020 Limited Crew Cab with a 5'7" bed.
I also have the Bed utility rails and the Cargo Bed Divider.
Are there any other options for folding hard tonneau covers
that will work with the Mopar Bad Divider?
I have read that the Mopar...
Just purchased a new 2020 RAM 1500 Limited EcoDiesel and will be following this thread.
I'd love to have the rear view video from my Airstream going to the RAM display as well as getting TPMS sensors on the trailer that could be displayed using the RAM display.
