2” Readylift level
285/60/20 Toyo Open Country ATIII tires
20x9 +1 Fuel Rebel wheels
Originally I had the wheels in 20x10 with a -18 offset. I loved the look, but they rubbed quite a bit and I didn’t want to do any cutting. Im still more than happy with the current setup though.
I also went with the Readylift leveling kit and really couldn’t be happier. I was in the same position as you with no intention of any serious off-roading so I had no desire to go with a crazy high performance build, but I didn’t wanna go super cheap either. I think the Readylift filled that gap...
Nice thank you for the info! That’s what I decided to do. I had my guy order the 20x9 +1’s they should be here in a couple days. For now I’m sitting in the tire shop waiting for them to swap out the 20x10’s and put the 285’s on the stock rims so I can ride on those in the meantime
Thanks for the response! So did you bend the metal tab and then remount the mud flap? Or just leave it off? And yea I believe that’s where my rub is coming from also. I just don’t wanna cut/bend that metal tab if I don’t have to. I
I’ll see how bad I rub tomorrow and then I’ll have to make the...
I recently had a readylift 2” leveling kit installed along with 285/60/20 open country a/t3’s and some fuel rebel wheels in 20x10 with a -18 offset. The guy who did the install for all of that also handled getting the alignment done with a local tire shop. After receiving the truck everything...
These Toyos are my first set of all terrain tires on any vehicle ive ever had but I feel like they’re very quiet. I hardly notice them at all, even at highway speeds. But I also do have the Borla S Type exhaust on my truck so my ride is never totally quiet lol.
Yea I have the readylift level. I was thinking the same thing when I was in your position and I just decided to go with the lightest 285 I could find that I liked the appearance of which was the Toyos.
I could probably make my current setup fit if I modified the wheel well but I don’t really...
Idk what level you're going with but I think you'd be fine. Readylift (which is what I have) states with their level you can fit a 285/65/r20 with +18 offset. If your stock wheels are +19 I doubt that extra mm will make a difference. Good luck though!
I just had my setup put on last week. I went the Toyo Open Country A/T3 in 285/60/r20. The wheels are the Fuel Rebel in 20x10 with a -18 offset. I could not be happier with the look. I do have the 3.21 gears but the truck does not feel sluggish at all. I still need to recalibrate the speedometer...
