TRX Is up on build and price. Want level 2? $80k+

You should see the number of raptors at my kids' elementary school during drop off in the morning...you need a truck like this to feel like a man when you roll into the starbucks parking lot to grab your oat milk latte on your way to work at the financial services firm office in the office park.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

I wouldn’t expect it will take a year. My opinion is it will be in the fall. Those on the fence should be ready to jump, you won’t miss it when the strong incentives appear. Here’s why I say soonish: Going back to the bets the manufacturers made pre COVID, it was putting more wood behind...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

I want to reiterate something I said here a few weeks or so back. If you are not buying because you have an immediate need, you should wait a few months. There is so much bizarre right now. Dealers are actually busy - people are scared ****less about public transport and are buying cars. All...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

One shouldn't conflate supply and demand of trucks with SUVs/sedans. If you were looking for a Grand Cherokee or whatever normal consumer vehicle, these points about being aggressive and seeking large discounts may be true right now. It'd be interesting for anyone to contact the same dealers...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

It's not entirely clear that will be the case...in fact it could be the opposite. There's going to be a lot (not everyone for sure) of people guaranteed employment via the stimulus through September. There are going to be a lot of people getting $2-4k of free money from the government looking...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

Many dealers have handled the slowdown by laying off lots of staff. For now, that should stop the bleeding of sales. the institutions that finance the dealers inventory are also giving them a break. There is no reason to believe we are near distress selling like was seen in 2008-2009 with all...

    People with gas mileage issues

I don’t think it’s all drivers either. My dealer gave me a limited with eTorque loaner the last time I was in the shop. Had it for 2 days. Drove the same roads on the same conditions at the same times with the same load. Hand calculation showed I averaged about 3 mpg better in the limited...

Why get 12 inch vs 8.4 inch?

I was given a loaner with a 12" while my 1500 was in for repairs. Having driven both, the 12" is fun and it looks great, but it's still an early adopter luxury feature (especially if you rely on Android Auto or Carplay). As more cars ship with these larger (11 inches and up) console displays...

Apple CarPlay will not work now

This is driving me insane. I have this issue. First trip to the dealer and they said a fuse was busted. Reset the fuses, gave me the truck, I checked on exit and it wasn't working. Made an appointment while there for the media hub to be replaced. After having the media hub replaced...

Car and driver updated their etorque review with updated data. Their limited with 3.21 and most every option is averaging 14 mph.

Running Boards/Step Rails for the 2019s

Curious...where did you find them? I've been looking high and low to no avail. Called my local dealership - said Mopar's system showed a significant backlog...basically if they expedited, I could *hope* to get them in late April. Sounds like they're not up to capacity on these. Dealers far...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

Or that we are at the end of this credit expansion and the responsible people all have cars they’re happy with and they need to get anyone in a new car like a no doc robosigned mortgage in 2005.

Could the Ford Ranger EPA Fuel Mileage investigation also affect Ram?

Agreed, to a point. The problem becomes when you add a $1500 hybrid option you most definitely are going to have heightened expectations from consumers, particularly when you market this engine as a traditional fuel saving eco friendly option. There should be a very clear and higher fuel...

    Horrific Gas Mileage Hemi eTorque

What you're saying borders on being fanatical. It seemed pretty clear to me they chose this Chevy because of the awful results Car and Driver published recently when they tested the same model/engine. So it's not how do we shock Ram and Ram owners - it's how do 2 trucks which have results that...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

Did you contact Koons in northern VA? That should give you a good idea of a good deal on your truck.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

Somewhere betweeen 43000 and 45000 before tax title and fees, depending on your region, ability to negotiate and the dealers motivation.

    Horrific Gas Mileage Hemi eTorque

That’s my point. There are occasional posters who say the point of the etorque is not fuel economy - that it’s for performance and for extending the lifespan of other components. Ram is marketing etorque as a fuel economy feature. There is no acceptable excuse for the results many are observing.

OK, then explain Ram's website. Here's a screen shot. Notice the benefits they tout are best in class fuel economy and driving range.

Running Boards/Step Rails for the 2019s

Does anyone know where I can order the black matte Mopar steps (82215301AC) online? All the mopar-esque sites that carry the part are all over the place in terms of actual availability, cost and the cost of shipping. The only place I've been able to find with verified stock wants $450 for the...

    Sad day

That's highly dependent on a number of factors, including the state where you live. Worst case, a lawyer would be happy to take this case - it'd be hard to deny a claim on an expensive vehicle this new with this much damage.
