Not in my case. I only looked at trucks with the 3.92 because I knew I was going with larger tires and I didn't want to end up with an effective axle ration in the high 2's or ~3.0.
Assuming stock tire size of 275 55 R20 (or another ~32 in tire): If you have a 3.92 and go with 275 65 R20...
I have the base 6 speaker system. Today I installed the Infinity Reference 3032 CFX dash speakers. I also installed the 600Hz bass blockers. I wanted to ensure that the polarity was correct and the adapter I had was also mis-wired. So I had to re-connectorize them to get it right. BTW, my...
I am running a 3.67. By getting the 3.92 and reducing it with larger diameter tires.

I will probably leave mine as is. If the blue eTorque lettering was a darker blue I might change it. My truck is Patriot Blue and I don't think the different shade of blue would look right.

A buddy of mine runs the Pathfinder AT tires and also loves them.
I couldn't find them in the size I wanted, 275 65 20, or I would have considered them as well.
Not sure what size you are looking for, but Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner AT tires are a good AT tire at a great price in the 275/65 R20 size. For whatever reason, in other sizes the price difference may not be as big. With a smaller difference in price, there are better tires for the money...
Just saw this, Doc. I don't think the spacer changes the ride since I left the stock rear springs. When I did the spacer, I was doing Bilstein 5100's all around. And I went with a stiffer but higher sidewall 275/65 20 inch tire when I did all of the changes. I think it is really the...
Thanks for your interest in my post, Greg.
I don't think you read my post closely. I was in search of optimum fuel economy for my truck at highway speed. I think I found it and wanted to share my findings with the community. It was a steady state test, flat florida road, no headwind or...
Agree. As I said, this was a steady state test. And one where I was seeking out the best possible mileage. But damn, that's still great mileage you have to admit.
I posted in another thread about my curiosity to find the sweet spot highway speed which optimizes fuel economy for my rig. I have a very mild level / lift and ~34 inch tires which has already reduced my fuel economy by over 2 mpg at speeds of ~75 mph. That's what I end up usually driving...
