Good-bye, my Ram is sold, new toy in the driveway.

Another Mustang EV update and I am a Ram Owner again. Happy New Year to you all. BTW I am a RAM owner again. A rust free 3rd Gen high Output Cummins 1 ton Dually Quad 4x4 with dump bed that I bought from my Uncles Estate in CA and drove 3600 miles home. Some work to do but I needed...

Good-bye, my Ram is sold, new toy in the driveway.

So just an update on the Mach E if anyone cares (I know a few did). My range has been 256 miles (rated for 211) per charge for my All Wheel Drive Standard Range. Zero reliability issues (so far) and now 3600 miles ( in 8 weeks). Average of 3.9 Mi/kWh efficiency, That equates to 132 MPGe...

Good-bye, my Ram is sold, new toy in the driveway.

Amen! Great conversations BTW. If we had nukes, the environmental issues could be easily managed. Hydrogen fuel, EVs and high efficiency heating systems would prevail. Also the jobs! 1 Plant can employ 1000 people and the trickle down is amazing (Average income of $72K). Also these are...

Good-bye, my Ram is sold, new toy in the driveway.

We have had an EV with a 124 mile range for 2 years. No dead batteries yet. I work/live and shop within a 16 mile range of the house. I am nervous as well, but we shall see.

I agree!. Galaxy would have been much better or Fairmont/Granada (LOL!!!). It does not say Mustang anywhere on it. The only badge is "Mach E".

Good-bye, my Ram is sold, new toy in the driveway.

It’s been a great year on this forum. I have enjoyed viewing and participating daily. You have all been very helpful and kind. I do hope I have helped at least a few. Now that my Ram is gone, I will not monitor this forum (OK I will check in a few times weekly I am sure). Since we sold to a...

    3 Truths and 1 Lie

What are 3 Truths and 1 Lie you were told about your RAM? I'll go Second: 1. The cabin will be quiet 2. The truck is the smoothest on the road 3. The engine shut off system works smoothly, It does for sure. The best I have experienced. Lie: E Torque will make your fuel economy better. The...

    Just sold to Vroom...

Too funny. Here is our Toy. ‘87 307, 31k all original 1 family owner. From the West. Still has Ice cold R12 AC. Good thing I am not “Upside Down” on it and not able to make my “Big Payment”.

    Just sold to Vroom...

My son leased a 2020 Warlock Last year. His total price if bought after 42 months was 36000, sum of payments, tax and buy out. He just got a trade in estimate for $36500. He used the “lease equity“ for a trade for a ‘21 Jeep gladiator.

    Just sold to Vroom...

I am going to buy a beater, get by for the next 6-12 months, drive the heck out of my EV with free power from work now and my Indian as much as possible (42 MPG), watch the economy take a downturn due to inflation, watch gas go to $3.50 or $4.00 per gallon nationwide average and re-buy or...

Mine too. No NAV 8.4. It is handy.

    My gawd, the wind noise!

I assume you do not have Vent Visors on the windows. I have found those increase wind noise significantly on other vehicles. So far, my 2020 is wind noise free. Since the cab is so quiet, I can understand why any added wind noise would be noticeable and not acceptable. The only time I...

    Just sold to Vroom...

I did some checking today. Basically they are giving KBB trade in Value. I got an email from Enterprise Car sales and clicked to value my vehicle for Trade this PM. Up came KBB with nearly the exact value Vroom gave me, what I paid last year. I know the west coast uses KBB but New England uses...

    Just sold to Vroom...

I just submitted the paperwork to Vroom, we will see what happens. There is a statement that “offers and payments are subject to current market conditions” or something like that. Let’s see if they honor the offer. I can lease a 2021 Night Crew Hemi for $499 out of pocket and $499/ month...

    Just sold to Vroom...

For me, I have driven it for nearly 1 year for just the cost of Sales Tax. That’s not bad at all. Gas going to $4+ per gallon soon and the truck never meeting the promised economy is a factor. I can lease a similar 21 Ram Night Crew Hemi for $499/mo zero down, Or just get a beater with no...

    Just sold to Vroom...

I just got a Vroom quote on my 2020 Big Horn. Exactly what I paid nearly a year ago. Holy smokes, no more payment. It’s tempting.

    Door sill protection

If you have a dark truck, these are precut and around $25 on Amazon or EBay. Install was bubble free and about 20 mins. The important thing is they work.
