Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

BMW service is top notch. The key is $$ lol. We were fortunate enough to be offered an additional 40k mile maintenance plan on our x3m comp for $900 (1.5yr or 75k) The deal was too good to be true but so far it’s awesome. Top notch rentals and it’s nice to know the car is getting what I needs...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

More updates. Fuel pump was replaced but the CEL is still on. They are doing more diagnostics tomorrow but mentioned if they don’t solve it tomorrow then they will need to work with the Chrysler “star” engineers to see what they will replace next. (Could take weeks) They looked more into the oil...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

So far I’m not too thrilled with the dealer but we will see what happens once they replace the fuel pump. Currently they told me the oil is from a spill from an oil change. I’ve always changed it and though I’ve had some small spills they were cleaned up. The oil I pointed out is on the opposite...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

I appreciate this! Mine defiantly seems a bit worse also have 30k more miles. At this point I’ll wait to see what the dealer says. To me it seems like a there’s been a slow leak for a long time, it may not be the issue Cushing my code but still something. I’ll share what the dealer says once I...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

So the code has come and gone but now it’s here to stay and the truck is down on power. Took the top cover off and it seems a bit concerning. Oil around the top and seemed to be leaking from pipe going to the intercooler from the turbo. Failing turbo? I rolled 99k today and it’s going to the...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

I just filled up from my typical station. Once I burn through this thank I’ll give it a try! That code seems like a real pain to troubleshoot. I have access to a mactco Maximus 3.0 scan tool but requires an account to get through the safe gateway module. It’s only $50 for the year so I may give...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

I’ve been waiting since November on parts. Supposedly im 3-4weeks out from getting mine done. I’m approaching 100k miles and now getting a P026C code off and on. I just hope the 3-4 week estimate is accurate Becuase I’m hoping to take a few road trips in 6 weeks.

Are there any high mileage Gen3 Eco's with stock tune on here?

I'm at 96k miles, no tune (yet). No issues here and still waiting on HPFP recall to be completed. I do my own servicing, no fuel additives and its been a great vehicle so far. Still on original brakes and they look like they aren't even at 50%. Oil change every 5-7k miles. Started with...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

Does anyone know what the warranty will be on this new pump after its installed? I haven't seen any mention of it.

    P203E Error Code 2014 EcoDiesel

Have you had the Y81 recall performed? Its a software flash and I believe it also helps address this def level sensing issue. Mine would do this occasionally and after that recall I never had it happen again. DEF usage went up for me slightly but It also solved another issue I was having with my...

Are there any high mileage Gen3 Eco's with stock tune on here?

Not sure if you would consider this high mileage but I'm at 92k totally stock and never a drop of any fuel additives. I had a hiccup once with the SCR but the DEF recall + some hard driving sorted that out so it didn't cost me anything. I'm happy so far! Plan is to keep it going, maybe after the...

    Tried using a zf 8hp transmission pan...oops

This looks really nice. I don't tow often and as I plan to do the service every 100k miles, I'm not sure i'd spend the money. How often are you guys doing the trans service? I was planning to it at 100k. I was estimating being $700-$1100 for the trans service. Is that what you guys are seeing?

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

Has anyone found out what the warranty is if any applies to this new pump? I’m still waiting on mine. They told me they have parts but when I brought the truck in they said they need to order. At that time the advisor had no info on warranty of new pump.

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

They only charged you $64 for an oil change!

Fuel filter replacement interval-Mopar just changed the owner's manual

The fact they changed that is concerning. Yes, they need to honor the warranty for those who purchased trucks and their manual states every other but still. Ive actaully done it every 15k miles as I changed oil every 7500. Maybe ill go every 10k now. My truck has 88k and so far so good. For...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

I've looked into this before. They don't list their diesel as "Top Tier" and the only stations that come up are Costco when you filter for top tier diesel fuel. Those stations aren't to close to me unfortunately. Any other brands you know of that run these detergents in their fuel? Would be...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

It’s a Mobil with no biofuels in their diesel (they claim). But my cars definitely like it. They start better and get better mpg when we fill up with that diesel. Both my ram and golf tdi.

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

Like you see above, I'm at 88k and never any additives. The problem does appear random where some see it under 10-20k miles and there are trucks out there with well over 100k no issue. I hate having the dealer do anything with my car but the way this issue arises sucks. There is no warning and...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

Has there been any mention of extended warranty on these fuel pumps after they are replaced? I'm at 88k so I'm hoping they offer warranty on it for more than the 100k factory powertrain.

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

I feel the same way. 88k with no additives ever and no issue but this failure is catastrophic. I travel all over and often with my family and young kids…..a failure like this in some of the remote areas we go with the whole family would just suck. So hopefully their fix is actually good…..
