I went the aftermarket route.

The whole bezel pops off after you remove the to screws in top under the little piece of rubber then I trimmed behind that sction with a dremmel

Pac just updated the amppro to work with non amplified systems. I would go this route but I have everything to replace my 5” radio this weekend with an aftermarket kenwood

I talked to idata today they have a vehicle specific harness for the no amp systems for the dsr1 they are testing the firmware, should be available in a month or so

Did you get your harness yet? I’ve been having issues with mine..on my 2nd harness from them after proving it wasn’t my lc7i or jl amp causing my issues..even though I was told they put resistors in I just ordered the audio control ac-Lgd. To see if that’s my issue.

I have 2 harness from them at my house now..I’m gona cut into one and check it out..had issues with both..the first one using the remote trigger was constant hot so amp stayed on.the new one they sent me amp won’t turn on using remote or the gto in the lc7i. Frustrating might just pull some...
