Hi forum peeps, have an issue that maybe you can help solve for me. I purchased and installed a roll-n-lock retractable tonneau cover as a Xmas present to myself to replace a 12 year old backflip g2 (still functioning but not suiting my needs). Install was super easy and done in under and hour...
Hi all, in the market for a new tonneau cover in Canada. I’ve had the backflip g2 on my current truck transplanted from my 2012 to my 2021 and it is starting leak everywhere and the rear latch has fully rotted out at the screws, so is not super secure. I have an over the bed bike rack and would...
Just hit 68,000km after 3 years of ownership and have had the message 3 times. All times have been within a day of the truck being parked for 1-2 weeks due to out of town business trips or vacation. The timer makes lots of sense as my daily commute is 40 minutes each way on the highway. Plenty...
Has anyone figured out if the new 2025 non-HD tow mirrors will fit on the pre-2025 trucks with minimal issues? I know the new style HD tow mirrors don't fit. Love the large mirror over the spotter in the non-towing position vs. the moose horns I have currently.
Mine was doing what you described, found a leak in the heater core (sweet coolant smell on the inside of the truck when heat was on), and also found a sweating leak at the front of the engine on the upper driver side from one of the cheap plastic elbows coming out of the front of the block.
Had the truck into the dealer yesterday and confirmed the heater core is leaking. Worst part is no parts available for 8-10 days and have to drive with the smell, slowly poisoning myself with Ethylene Glycol vapour until they come in. Glad it's under warranty as it's a $1300 touch for the dash...
My coolant smell in the cab started today. Enough I had to roll the windows down while driving in -20C weather. Defrost wasn’t working very well either. There was a thick fog on the inside of the windshield which makes me think I have a three way valve or heater core leak in the dash. Still...
I ordered my ‘21 Rebel with the tech package specifically for the tailgate release. On delivery I asked where is it and was handed two remotes with the tailgate release button included. Anyone know if it is easy to add the button to the overhead console?

That was VERY difficult to read, try spaces between paragraphs of thought or some bullets next time.
All LTDs have air suspension, so if you’re ordering that trim level you’ll get it, otherwise I’d opt for coils all day, nothing like a frozen air line in -40C and one bag that won’t inflate...
Running $1.739 right now but was as high as $1.839 last week. I think the key was using cruise as much as possible. Found in the sections where I wasn’t using cruise the mileage was slightly worse.
8.2L/100km average after a +/-1400km round trip through the Rockies and Kootenay mountains from Calgary, AB to Castlegar, BC to Salmo, back to Castlegar and then home to Calgary. This is with my stock Rebel, family of four and the back seat and bed half full of stuff. Works out to 28.8mpg...
Had the update done almost a week ago. As reported by a few, the initial low speed acceleration is a little noisier, but also the turbo whistle is more noticeable at speeds between 50 and 100km/h. Dead pedal on initial accel seems to be gone. Too soon to see any def consumption change. Service...
The rumbling is the shoulder blocks hitting the pavement on turns and is normal at low speeds.
The highway speed is likely a tire slightly out of balance if it's really bad, or if you are used to less aggressive tires, could just be the duratracs making noise like any m/t or aggressive A/t does.
Got my first tank of non-winter diesel for 2022 and the mileage in my 2022 Rebel was VERY happy with it. 6.7 l/100km = 35.1 mpg on my 15km commute this morning. I attribute this to only hitting 1 red light and very light Friday traffic. I usually average about 9 l/100km or 26mpg for this commute...
Don’t listen to any naysayers on this one. You have enough truck. Speaking from experience if you leave the truck bed empty you will have zero issues. My payload is 1444 and we travel with a family of four plus snacks and electronics as well, bikes over tonneau cover on a custom rack. With a...
650-800 miles per 33 gallon tank, but don’t drop below 1/8 full ever. Usually only put in 26-28 gallons. 2021 ED Rebel with 3.92s.
Varies wildly depending on ambient temp and how much stop and go, length of trips…
