    Right On Bracket

Thanks guys. I'm not too concerned now either. The load bearing holes lined up great for me too and now that the Retrax is installed, I'll probably never see those brackets again!

    Right On Bracket

I feel like I did more research on tonneau covers than the truck itself! Got it installed yesterday and already loving it. Now I gotta get my bed lights installed so I can see in there with it closed.

Thanks for the response. I'm not too worried about it, but good to have some confirmation that I'm not the only one.

    Right On Bracket

First, let me say thanks to all of you for the information here. I don't post/reply much, but I read a lot. Bought my truck in May with plans to get a tonneau cover before a Minnesota winter. Since that's right around the corner - and after lots of research - I decided on the Retrax Pro XR...

    First Ram!

Yeah, it really was a good vehicle for me. I had a stretch around 100k miles where I had 3 somewhat expensive repairs in a 6 - 8 month period (probably $4-5k total) and I thought it was the beginning of the end. But never had much more than oil, brakes and tires after that. And not having a...

    First Ram!

Yes, it was between that and Granite Crystal when I initially was looking online. Once I saw Maximum Steel in person, I fell in love with it. But, I was still between the 2 on the day I made the purchase - the Granite one had the convenience package and the panoramic sunroof. I ultimately...

    First Ram!

My decision to purchase now was based on the fact that I was driving a 12 year old Nissan Pathfinder with 209,000 miles on it. My wife doesn't drive (medical reasons), so this is our only "real" vehicle. (We also have an 84 Jeep CJ-7, but that's just for summer time fun.) The Pathfinder has...

Thank you. I will do that. Is there an appropriate forum to post that in?

    First Ram!

Funny you should ask - that's part of the reason I joined yesterday. Just starting to research them, but I'm pretty sure I want a hard one, so probably one of the tri-folds. Too many choices though! Bakflip, Peragon, Lomax, Truxedo, Undercover... It might take more effort to pick that than...

    First Ram!

Just bought my first Ram (and first ever brand-new vehicle) on Monday. Just joined the forum today! The only thing I plan to add/change (for now anyway...) is to get a tonneau cover on it before winter and maybe add some side steps/running boards. Here she is!
