Last year, I bought that flimsy little USB for my 2020. I tried copying it to my PC hard drive to avoid breaking that tiny plastic piece of junk every time I want to use it, but it will not open from the hard drive. "Can't find USB" or some such error. Did they sabotage that flimsy little...
Like my '94 and '04 Cummins-powered trucks, my 2020 Hemi gets a fresh charge of Amsoil annually.....5W-20 in the new ride. Back in my diesel days, I always sent out a sample for analysis, and even after 20k miles, I was throwing away good oil. And I put a combined 530,000 miles on those trucks.
I drive a 2020 5.7 Hemi Big Horn. I'm retired, so it currently has only 22k on the clock. Do I understand correctly that installing shorty headers with new hardware will prevent bolt / stud failures in the future? Can anyone recommend the AFE headers?
I put a pair of black hooks on my 1500 in September.....purchased off eBay. I haven't driven the truck even 400 miles since (retired), and the truck never sits out in the weather. The paint on the hooks is already flecked and showing rust. And the plastic trim pieces for the bumper cutouts...
It's a "legal thing"? Are you sure?? It's the camel's nose under the tent, I tell ya! How long before they program the truck to go completely dead at 100k miles?
Is there a way to bypass the Uconnect startup screen? You know.....where you're commanded to comply with all applicable motor vehicle laws and the Ram terms of service?
I recently got a new pan/filter for my 8-speed in preparation for changing the fluid. The Mopar part number came up 68225344AA. Using that Mopar number, I ordered a new one from Summit Racing, and the part received has ZF part no. 0501 219 037 embossed on the bottom of the pan. The OE pan has...
I chipped the ice off my windshield so I could run an errand.....or so I thought. I didn't realize that small piece around the driver-side spindle would block all motion on that side. The other wiper went through its full range of travel. With ALL the ice removed, the busted wiper now lacks...
Lately, on the first startup of the day, the brake pedal is rock hard. The truck starts just fine, and there seems to be no problem with the operation of the brakes. I just wondered whether this might be the symptom of something sinister.
